No. They send the packages from an European warehouse.

The demo didn't make it seem *that* good either, I'm putting a lot of faith in all the people that say it's good, even at £10 :lol
I bought it for ~45 € using a voucher on Amazon.fr and so far I don't regret it. I bought the first game for almost the same price 2 years ago and didn't regret either.

I'll put my impressions under a spoiler tag below if you want to read them. There's no spoiler, it's just to avoid derailing the thread.

I only have 2 complains about the game:
- It's too easy (in 32 hours of gameplay, I had 2 game overs - one on purpose, to start again a fight that was clearly lost -). Only 2 boss gave me some challenge, one at the beginning of the game and the other being the objective of a subquest. So I made a challenge for myself: clear the battles as fast as possible and catch a lot of monsters. So far I made a team that I haven't changed for 20 hours lol. My ravager monster is just too damn powerful, even against enemies resistant to its element !
- Framerate drops a lot.

Other than that, I love it:
- Interesting and unusual story. See it like FFXIII meets Chrono Trigger. Yes, I'll go that far. I don't see what people hate about the writing: so far, and in french, the writing is good and the story is very understandable.
- Gorgeous graphics. The framerate suffers from them, but seriously this is one of the most beautiful games this generation.
- Amazing soundtrack. I just can't stop to listen to Historia Crux's track, for example.
- Fun and entertaining battle system. It didn't change a lot and I still love it.
- Varied gameplay: mini-games, puzzles, treasure searching, subquests... Many things to do !
- Great level design: no more corridors.
- The crafting system from the first game is gone.

Insane price for a 3G Vita at Amazon UK

Vita Wifi+3G plus 4GB memory card plus 1 game (Uncharted / FIFA / Mortal Kombat / Virtua Tennis 4 / Rayman / Lumines / Michael Jackson Experience / Dungeon Hunter / Asphalt Injection) - £224.99 (Edit: I think you can also still get Wipeout 2048 for £5 through Vodafone, so £230 with a memory card and 2 games)

Link

Wifi Only version of the bundle here for £194.95 (Edit: Seems to be a limited game selection with the Wifi version, no Uncharted or Mortal Kombat)

Do the codes apply if you're taking advantage of an offer? Arcana Hearts 3 LE and Blazblue CS Extend are in the 2 for £25 offer that I can't ignore.

Not ordered from Zavvi since they were an actual shop, so I'm going in blind here.

Still looking for a bargain on King of Fighters XIII, if anyone's seen one.

Apologies if old but Amazon have just dropped the price of Assassin's Creed Revelations Ottoman Edition (includes all the DLC) to £14.97 on both Xbox and PS3 (although it's out of stock on PS3 at the moment so the price is listed as one of their marketplace stores).

It's only 2p more expensive than the basic version without DLC.

Just noticed that both the games I want to get from that offer on Zavvi say "Usually dispatched within a month".

Is it safe to trust them? Do they take the money straight away or at dispatch?

Thanks for this, I didn't realise how expensive the DLC was on the marketplace, definitely worth picking up over waiting for the regular to hit £10, cheers!

at dispatch, but be prepared to wait. they're known for their "wait period" between placing an order and them actually shipping it.
my most recent experience was with Twin Peaks DVD. it said "available in three days", after two weeks and numerous mails in which they apologize for the delay I canceled the order.

Yes. However the "Usually dispatched within a month" could end up being 2 days or 2 months. I had Zelda: TP ordered from them and waited 2 months until they dispatched it, but the vast majority of the times (for me) it ended up being around 1 week of waiting.

Well, they're both listed on my account page as "awaiting stock pick" - not sure what kind of a sign that is?

Could mean anything. The date estimations aren't very good. I've had "Usually dispatched within a month" games dispatched the next day, yet ones which say a few days or a week that have taken over a month.

But YMMV because 2 times in like 5 years is not that much to make a good call on the website.

I only bought a game once from them. Had Tales of Graces f pre-ordered for months, and they didn't even ship on release date. The game arrived after a few days when they actually shipped the game.

Bad. Never trust them when they say "0-3 days". In my experience that can mean just about anything. You even aren't guaranteed release date shipping with preorders. Had a preorder shipped two weeks after release. But if you want to be sure to avoid customs, they are still the best choice for US games.

Anyone know a good place to pick up Saints Row The Third on PS3 as cheap as possible, really in the mood for it but can't bring myself to pay over £15 for some reason.
Cheapest I've found is used on the Amazon marketplace but with a warning that the disk is a little scratched, no thanks, lol.

Indeed and they are well down my retailer pecking order as a result. Although to be fair [no, I am not a football manager] they are hardly the only retailer that is guilty of this particular sharp practice.

Stop selling shit you do not have zavvi, I really don't want to cancel but you will more then likely give me a bullshit reason as to why it can't be sent out at that price and raise the price.

Offtopic, but find-book is nice too, since camelcamelcamel isn't allowed to track kindle books for some reason.

Wait...the pricewatch page for find-game is insanely slow compared to the rest of the site, but that's the page I want to visit most frequently. :/

Its available from Amazon.co.uk under 'More Buying Choices' on the right hand side, although note that it is 'Temporarily out of stock' but Amazon usually get new stock in regularly.

Shipping costs to Germany make it a bit more expensive, but at least they send from UK.

That's the right price for me, took a while though.
Now I just need Asura's Wrath and Rhythm Thief to drop, actually on that note Asura's Wrath is £25 on shopto, but i'm cheap (that's why i'm here!) so i'm holding out for a bigger drop.

Asura's Wrath was £17 in Morrisons.

Really shouldn't buy Catherine because I know it's a bad game, but I'm still tempted. Luckily, shopto's impossible account recovery process makes this a very simple thing to avoid.

That's not unusual; I suspect it is the retailer giving them false info to increase traffic rather than the site itself being deliberately misleading. I have found Play to be particularly prone to this shonky tactic.
