OK, I'm done! Thanks for the help, GAF! I solved about 2-3 steps on my own, haha...

Up to 9.8 GB now (from 5.5 GB earlier today - I did the university e-mail address verification thing as well), not too bad for a free (originally 2 GB) account!

Wait what? How do I link my .edu email? dropbox.com/edu doesn’t show anything.

That's what mine looks like now, after I've verified my university e-mail. Before, there was a textfield to enter the address. So, it looks like you've already done it.

After entering an e-mail address there, an e-mail gets sent to that address. The e-mail contains a link, and following it completes the process and gives you the bonus space.

Yeah, I didn't link it to facebook. However I quickly registered a fake twitter account (you don't even need to confirm your e-mail address...) and did all the twitter linking :)

Not sure what it does, but you can unlink it here.

Thanks for getting me through Dropquest, though, GAF. I got some of the way on my own but a few of them had me baffled, and now I'm up 1.6GB.

After looking up the answers and finding out about that .edu extra referral space all in this thread, I have amassed 3.3GB of extra space (for a total of 7.8GB!). :deceasedlol

I got 4.5 GB extra (from 5.5 GB to 10 GB) from the Dropquest + dropbox.com/edu + dropbox.com/free. So, yes, this thread turned out to be quite a nice boost for me as well!
