I met my wife through Streetpass. The wedding was yesterday.

I got a Mii via streetpass today and immediately put him to work in streetpass quest along with guys I bought using my coins.

Yes, yesterday. I took a long ass walk (8500 steps according to the 3DS) and managed to pick up one person.

I look forward to seeing my results after spending some time in Manhattan tomorrow. :)

My first day back at college is tomorrow I will try it out then.

I'm at 8 today but i had to go around looking for software with my friend.

No luck at my University, not even in the technology building.

Damn. I took mine to college today, was 2 hours in a lab, but when I got out a dude was just playing his 3ds, I thought fuck yeah first street pass hit, but when I checked there was nothing. =(

I Streetpassed someone I Friended today, both before and after the Friending. Dunno about him but I had Wifi on, was connected to my office Wifi.

Note, it doesn't show up immediately - the second time it showed up 16 minutes after I passed him.

Funny thing was that I didn't look out for people I just sit and played SF and people appeared. Heck I even showed people how to turn on the streetpass and spotpass because the saw me playing Find Mii and Puzzle.

I felt like kicking butts also game sharing XD.

Hmm, we've been sitting together with out 3ds's in sleep mode all day and it hasn't showed up for either of us.

got 12 i the 5 hours i was at school....

I tagged my friend twice today with it. Once when she was sitting across the table from me playing her 3DS as well, the other when she was playing hers in the car and I was driving and mine was in sleep mode.

I bought my Japanese launch system in Hong Kong, and so far I have met 12 people. One of them is a colleague of mine, and it really helps playing that RPG because the more times you meet with the same person, the higher their level and the more damage they can do.

Maybe that's the problem. Street Pass is supposed to be for people you pass, it may not show up while the two devices still detect each other.

i got one today during traffic on the 210 West near Pasadena, CA around 7:30am. I really wanted to see it for myself, but i had to wait until i got to school.

In North America outside the big cities like New York, your best bet is probably the mall, movie theatre, or anywhere where there are gamers. That is of course outside of structured places like work or school where one will also likely able to tag players.

It's impossible to predict the kind of trajectory a feature like this one might take in 2-3 years once the early adopters have adopter and the rest start to follow. But certainly initially, where fans are picking this up, that's where you want to go.

Also at pax this year, im sure there will be alot of streetpassing going on.

I'm going to be taking mine with me to Japan Fest in Houston on April 9th. I will definitely get some hits on it there for sure. I don't want to take it with me to work because I don't want anyone else touching my system because they won't take the same amount of care of it as I would.

However I will take it with me everywhere when I go out places. :)

I got about 11 Miis yesterday from walking past the 3DS display tents on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA. Bunch of Nintendogs tags too.

I'm having a weird issue with Super Street Fighter IV with it's StreetPass feature. At first I thought it was just because a friend of mine hadn't updated yet but even AFTER the update we couldn't do anything to make our games see each other.

Our Mii's in StreetPass worked just fine AND I even StreetPassed with someone else randomly a few minutes before with no issues in Super Street Figher IV.

Any ideas? I've googled it and all I could find was a few more people complaining on another forum.

Nothing for me yet. Of course, I haven't really been out and about with the thing. It brings back memories of when I'd go into Pictochat on the old DS just to see if anyone was in there. There never was :(

E3 is gonna be nuts for Streetpasses. Can't wait.

System Settings -> Data Management -> StreetPass Management

Make sure that MiiPlaza is in there and activated on both systems.

I carried mine around all day on campus. I received zero hits. I am disappointed.

I get ten play coins just by walking to class though, so I guess I will keep trying.

I'm going back to school for spring quarter tomorrow, and all of my classes are in the tech hall. Hopefully I'll be able to dredge up some hits.

I've turned it on in the Mii Plaza and Street Fighter. Is there anything else I would need to turn on (besides having wireless enabled and the device in sleep mode, obviously)?

You could do a Street Pass playlist in the 3DS Sound channel.

That could be the issue.

He has a Mii, but I don't know if it's in Mii Plaza.

I got a few Miis at work, but after that nothing. I have SSF4 set up and so did a bunch of other people but it wouldn't pass the data no matter how we tried. And we couldn't get Miis too.

My two 3DS's next to each other both StreetPass'd took a couple of minutes though.

Other than that I don't think anyone in Western Australia has a 3DS, so luck here :(

Had to pick something up in midtown today. 7 Mii Plaza passes, 2 SSF4, and 1 Ridge Racer (yay).

Apparently it's instant but it takes a little while for it so show up.

For those having problems heres a few thinks I Think you need to do.

1st: Streetpass will not work while the system is on the main menu or in ames. Some games support streetpass while on and ingame like Nintendogs since when I press the Home button it shows streetpass where internet usually is.

2nd: Not only do you need to have activated streetpass in the Mii Plaza app, you also need to have invite miis on. I think....I think I read that in the manual. Have bad memory so not sure.

3rd: you also have to have wireless on. The wireless switch is on the side and will blink yellow while the 3DS is closed if streetpass is working properly.

4th: for every other game you have to activate street pass in game.

Just trying to help. I have'nt gone anywhere yet but tomorrow I'll be out and about. With it. I hope I pass someone. Or you know more than one.. :)

I got a friend's Mii, but I can't use it in Find Mii.
Do I have to do something? Because I can't really interact with his Mii at all (at least in Mii Plaza).

Street Pass Plaza help says "This works even while playing other games". So I think for Miis, you just need to close the system at any point period. Now for Street Fighter, you probably have to have the game on.

I connected to someone in the middle of Stockholm on March 26th. I wasn't in a gaming store that day so I'm quite surprised.

Still only 4 days after launch, so there isn't really that much 3DS out there yet, we'll see how it turns out after christmas this year.
