Anyone come across this system of divination?

I have had Robert Lee Camp's Cards of Destiny and Love Cards books, which describe the same system above in more depth, for about 4 years now. I tend to think the system is pretty spot on, especially when it comes to card connections between each other and card descriptions(profile of each card). If you have a Pluto connection(8 spots away) with someone, the pluto card is controlling, destructive and a challenge in your life. Venus connection(2 spots away) are good for love/home. And so on. I can get more in depth on this if you like.

It's intriguing the symbolism of the cards. Take for Example the Jack of Hearts. It's in the same spot of the life spread(seen above in image) and the Spiritual spread(the cards in their natural order). It is the Jupiter Column and Venus row. Jupiter being Spiritual Blessings and Venus being love. Fitting that the Jack of Hearts is then called the "Christ Card" as it also is in the spot of a crucifix. Could the whole Jesus legend just be a metaphor based on the cards? Or were the cards adapted to Christianity?

With no doubt it seems the playing cards are our calendar. 4 suits = 4 seasons. 52 cards = 52 weeks. 13 cards per a suit = 13 new moons per a year. 365/7 = 52 more or less. This is key because there are 7 planetary cycles we go through for 52 days apiece(Mercury through Neptune minus Earth). If you add up all the cards pips with Jacks being eleven, Queens 12 and Kinds 13...you get the number 364. Add the Joker at a value of 1.25 and wala...you have 365.25 our calendar year.

My birth card is the King of Spades(Jan 1). The "master" card of the spiritual and material planes. Although I tend to tune into my Planetary Ruling Card(Your Zodiac card) more...mine of which is the 5 of clubs...The "Quest for Truth" card.

Anyhow. Hearts Represent Love and Relationships. Clubs the mind and knowledge. Diamonds money and values. Spades will power and the devine. Numbers for the most part take their numerology counterparts symbolism. 3's are creative. 7's spiritual. 9 endings...and so on.

There's an easy way to find out which card someone is, as seen in one of the links at top. You double the month, add the date and subtract that number from 55. So take my birthday. 1/1 You double the month 1(2) and add the date 1 for a total of 3. 55-3 is 52. The king of spades. For the cards go in the order of Ace of Hearts 1 - King of Hearts 13...Ace of Clubs 14 - King of Clubs 26. Ace of Diamonds 27 and so on. So let's say someone was born on the 4th of July. You'd get the 7/4. Double 7(14) and add 4....is 18 subtracted from 55 is 37 the Jack of Diamonds. Pretty simple.

Anyhow...since I have the books and time to kill I can give some readings of your cards(i'm by no means an expert but pretty well read on the books I have). I can give a profile of your card(as seen in the book Love Cards) with just your birthdate. Tell me the year as well and I can look up your cards for the year and your 7-year cards for a more accurate desription of what to expect. Add someone elses birthday and I can tell you what kind of connection you have. Moon/Venus/Mars/Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus/Neptune/Pluto/Reward/Life Lesson/Karma and so on and in which direction(from whom to whom) the energy is flowing.

One more note. The cards are read from right to left starting with the 3 of hearts. They wrap around to the 7 of hearts and so on until you reach the queen of hearts in the neptune/neptune section...you then go up to the 10 of clubs and read around to the king of spades which then wraps around back to the 3 of hearts.

Awesome, thank you. I'm not the superstitious type, but I find it interesting all the same. I have been feeling restless about my "home situation," but at 21 that's not terribly unexpected. And I find it hilariously depressing in more ways than one that this is my "pinnacle year."

Well well well. We have a King of Diamonds. The Successful business person according to the Love Cards book(there's profiles and connections in the Love Cards book and yearly readings in the Desinty book). It's also the card of "How we make enemies".

Materialistic, Ruthless, Stubborn, Tyrant, Subjective, One-Sighted(notice the king only shows one eye) are all traits of the King of Diamonds. On the positive side you know how to make money by using many of those same skills. You have a 4 of Spades PRC(Planetary Ruling Card)....which might make you look like a box...very square/rectangular. You are a hard-worker.
