I went with the first Bounty mod for New Vegas, and it's wonderful. I really love that it's not just the simple find target and and eliminate them missions. The narrative elements added into each mission, and the AMAZING references to pop-culture make it really worthwhile.
Does the second one live up the first? I downloaded it but i plan on installing it once i finish this one first. |

Also, there was this pipboy mod i saw in a video that looked like a PDA. It wasn't the PipBoy 2500, but a different. It was smaller and it was blue. Do you know the name of it?

Is it because my save file has become too dependent on the mods, and removing would only compromise the stability of the files? Or rather every i've downloaded just comes into conflict with the DLC and the new update. I'm gonna be really pissed if i'm ass out and have to start a new game. |

Check the image gallery at the link above to see screenies of the new critters. Please note that the Aliens and Terminators are included as individual mods, so you can add lots of new beasts to your Fallout experience without being required to have movie critters in there too. I also enjoy the Level Cap 100 mod because I find my drive to explore the wasteland and collect loot drops off sharply after I stop accruing xp. Be warned, though, that using this will eventually put all of your skills over 100. If that doesn't appeal but you still like the idea of leveling up to 100, then I'd suggest keeping your character's INT low and avoiding the Educated perk that boosts skill points per level. Thanks to the OP for setting this up.

Also this you should probably download Weapon Retexture Product
Shameless promotion cause I know this guy from my CS modding days. Weapons look a helluvalot better. (you can also just download each one individually) |

News
New Vegas Script Extender will automatically disable itself when launching the game once Steam has downloaded the latest patch. This will cause your mods to stop working. http://nvse.silverlock.org/

And the new version is out:
http://nvse.silverlock.org/beta/nvse_2_beta6.zip Just tested it out, the game runs but I crashed as soon as I aimed down sights. I have to leave for work now but I'll mess around with it tonight and see what's what. |

So I'm trying my hand at the Fallout 3 texture mod. Was pretty easy to use. Was like a 4 step process that I followed.
BEFORE........................................................................... ........................................................................... .....................................AFTER ![]() Seriously looks way cleaner. Also doesn't really hit your performance too much (as I used the performance version) |

I haven't played the game since last week, but have any new mod updates released after the Main Game update? Last time i played all the mods fell apart and it reverted back to the Vanilla game. Do i have to download the updates for the all the mods i got, if any, or will just downloading the new NVSE update be enough.

Having a blast with the (modded) game.
But a problem it's really annoying me :\ Nevada Skies is supposed to have a lot of cool effects and darker nights right? The problem is, that more often than not, when i'm going around at night, NS tends to deactivate itself, and it won't come on again (i tried reloading, entering and exiting buildings and such, but nothing will do, just exit the game completely and boot it up again, just to have it disappear after a few seconds). Some times it stays on for more though (even an entire in-game night), totally randomly and very rarely. Here's how it goes: ![]() first it's activated (i just loaded there, in the first screencap) then i start running around and, about 10 seconds later, it starts to get brighter and brighter, until it becomes like the last screen. :\ Anybody knows what's up? I could try to post on the nexus forums aswell. |

Actually i can actively see when it deactivates itself, because the little spinning dust tornadoes(?) go from yellow to black. :\
I tried posting in the bug reporting thread on nexus, but it's not that active, so i'm not holding my breath. Oh well. Are there any alternatives to Nevada Skies? |

You could try Fellout New Vegas? I haven't played with it yet so if you try it let us know how it is.
