This is the only episode of the show that I have seen and it made me an instant fan. The ducks in the pet shelter and them acting like rubber ducks had me crying from laughing so hard. I really have to find all the episodes to this show now.

Those of us who watched the pilot first could see they used roughly the same animation. But I like how they touched it up to match the other episodes quality.

I actually like the animation style of the pilot, so this episode was pretty cool. Almost like a Director's Cut of the show.

It wasn't really a new episode. It was a slight remake of the original pilot with an awesome opening sequence that wasn't there before. The opening was really well done.

I doubt it. It wouldn't be the same if they remade it...the same goes for the original mini of Mordecai and Benson's acid trip. Imagine if Regular Show was in Adult Swim...oh my god. It'd be like the acid trip mini multiplied by 100. :lol

Pre-Mark Hamill, perhaps? The opening Caddyshack montage was amazing, but kind of wish they re-did the middle too as the voice / animation change was jarring.

I know that I'm going to get blasted for this, but this show reminds me of an animated version of Always Sunny. There's something about the tone, work place humor, and wacky adventures that remind of it.

Of course it goes with out saying that Regular Show is superior.

My brother just introduced me to this show a few weeks ago and it's brilliant. It's so fresh, original and hilarious. It's probably the only CN show where I've laughed almost non stop no matter the episode. I recently watched the ep where Rigby gorges on so much junk food his body rejects his consciousness, turning him into a little green blob. I was in tears when he started cruising around in a dixie cup taped to a roller skate, LOL. Also, you know the writers of a cartoon are legit when they have the two main characters playing a Sega Master System.

edit: Still can't believe Skips is voiced by Mark Hamill, crazy.

Dood (Mordecai voice). It really is a Sega Master System. The shape of the cartridge is spot on and they even made sure that the decals were correct:

I just saw the first day episode. I don't know when this came out, but the moment I'm alright by kenny loggins started playing, it jumped up as one of my favorite episodes. This show is still one of the best things cn has going for it, and I would love to see it hyped to the moon like that shitty MAD is

Oh, and like someone mentioned, that rodent bingo scene was fucking hilarious. But the ending was a bit morbid, not that this would be the first time we've seen someone die on the show.....

New episode was kind of weak, but only because the series had been setting the bar so high. Got better as it went along, but was pretty rote for a while.

I can't believe this show doesn't get more love on gaf. It's an amazing juxtaposition of normal everyday shit and fantasy. Every single episode is like some sitcom scenario with some crazy mutant tentacle offshoot resolution, and it's amazing that they can keep coming up with novel approaches towards that formula.

Personally, I think the show would be better if they went away from the fantastical endings. It's a cop-out ending most of the time and ruins the tone they establish in the first half.

A lot of early South Park used to be that way, then the creators got comfortable enough to play it 'more straight' and have realistic conclusions. Made for a better show.

That's generally how RS eps work though. Not technically fantasy though, but mostly outrageous endings (e.g. grilled cheese).

Yeah Yea. Such a good show, only one problem every episodes is essentially the same just with another coat of paint, they follow the same formula almost exclusively. The skips warning followed by "we better get skips" when whatever goes down has been used too much.

Other then that the show is top notch

I'm only a couple minutes in, but looks like this episode was edited...

During the week on CN they ran a promo for it where Rigby told the other team that he was going to rub balls in their faces (while he held up a bowling ball). Now he says bowling bags. Lame, but was shocked they let the first line through in any capacity.

PROOF! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuM7J8HQbu0

This seems a little different from the promo I saw (I'm probably just crazy) but there ya go. OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
