32GB Transformer and dock for sale. Used for about 10 hours or so. Not looking for a profit, available for retail price + tax + shipping to you.
It's a very nice device, I just don't have a use case for a tablet that justifies me keeping it. I did the same thing with the iPad (hooray for high demand enabling a free rental of new tech gadgets). GAF, you have one day to buy this before I turn to eBay. |

My keyboard/dock should arrive tomorrow or the next day.
So far I'm liking it, though i have nothing to compare it to. First tablet and android device. The screen is beautiful and the design is great. The back is a bit cheap (some flex and creaking if you squeeze), but looks classy. I just opened it so i can't comment too much, but here's a few dislikes thiugh they aren't serious. Asus custom touch keyboard seems decent, but not up to the WP7 one. It has an autocomplete, but once you spell something wrong it doesn't offer choices. Also, selecting an autocomplete doesn't append a space, and there isn't an option to add to the dictionary. Wish the space bar was lower but i'll get used to that. Screen is pretty reflective and gorilla glass can seem somewhat tacky making scrolling a bit tough. Hopefully a nice matte protestor will become avaialable. I may have a stuck\dead pixel. I'll need to do some testing. More impressions as they come, though I won't be able to mess around with it until later.

UPS always waits until the end of the day to stop at my shop. We always schedule pickups in the late afternoon, so they always bring packages late in the afternoon.
No transformer for me yet =*( Edit: So this thing is kinda heavy...... the first two comments from two people as well. Likng it so far, waiting for the charge so that I can update the firmware. I really miss a trackball style cursor on any device with a touch screen.

Update
#293
I thought it felt a little heavy at first, but you get used to it. It is one of the lightest 10" tablets available.
Anyway so far ... I'm loving it. Other than spoilers not working, stuff like GAF is a joy to view. And even heavier loads like Engadget run really well. This thing is brute and will only get better. Also, the GMail app is really laid out well. Admittedly stability ain't there yet. I had one reboot (youtube going haywire), and some apps crashing here and there, but it ain't too bad. From all reports 3.1 will really help in this regard. Plus performance improves a lot - which is impressive, because overall the thing is already pretty speedy. UI is decently quick, and the better apps run quite well. One thing that will actually really get a nice boost is Flash stuff. While Flash 10.3 is already available, the GPU acceleration to take advantage of it isn't there until Honeycomb 3.1 releases. I'm looking forward to it since HBO GO, while playable, doesn't run particularly well compared to dedicated apps. Some apps to try out:

I actually haven't had much crashes on here, but that might be because I'm starting from a new account as this tablet is mostly for work.
Eems stable enough for me but I just discovered some edge bleeding =/. Gmail is very nice, so much so that I'm not liking having to use the web interface the rest of the day. The market is one buggy piece of crap. Looks nice but buggy. |

Plus maybe some dev work. oh and as a terminal for my PC when doing stuff like transcoding, rendering, whatever. Quite happy so far though. Can't wait for my case and dock to show up!
