Fast but powerful, Jill is a well rounded female character good for beginners. Unlocked from the beginning.  Starred in Biohazard, Biohazard 3: Last Escape, Biohazard Gaiden and Biohazard 5. Slower than Chris, but posseses much strong weaponry.  Starred in Biohazard 0, Biohazard, Biohazard Umbrella Chronicles and Biohazard 5. Not very powerful or fast, but she holds more health items than other characters when a mission starts.  Starred in Biohazard 0, Biohazard, Biohazard CODE: Veronica, Biohazard Umbrella Chronicles, Biohazard Darkside Chronicles, Biohazard 4 and Biohazard 5. One of the most powerful characters to use in the game.  Starred in Biohazard 2, Biohazard CODE: Veronica, Biohazard Darkside Chronicles and Biohazard Degeneration. A little bit weaker than Jill, but still very reliable and easy to use with decent weaponry.  Starred in Biohazard 2, Biohazard Umbrella Chronicles and Biohazard Darkside Chronicles. Good mix of weaponry and strength.  Starred in Biohazard Darkside Chronicles and Biohazard 4. Carries a unlimited bows and arrows and a Rocket Launcher, making him the idea character to achieve combos or to kill difficult bosses. A fifteen minute Yama & cvxfreak production. Barry was in Resident Evil 5? Where?
As a side question, do people love Leon in his entirety, or just RE4 and Beyond? He was sweet in 4, but largely forgettable in 2... at least to me. Was all about Claire back then. Though Jill IS Resident Evil to me (despite the horrible treatment in 5, I hope Revelations redeems her). |

Leon is being saved for the cover mascot of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D: Second Strike. Along with Ada, Sheva and the new Umbrella agents from Operation Raccoon City.
Shame Clair is the only character we haven't seen in the console installments. Still, awesome to have Mercs on the go. |

Maaaaaaaan, if this was released later in the systems life, and after revealations I probably wouldn't buy it, on the principle that it should have just been included in RE Revealations in the first place...
On june 28th in the middle of a software drought (sans zelda) and jonesing for a new online multiplayer game i'll probably just take the self loathing and buy it. It should be awesome for what it is at least. But DAMMIT where is my LEON?! It's not like Mercenaries was hugely popular on resident evil 4 or anything... I'm not satisfied with "Leon being in a shitty spinoff that will probably suck" as a decent reason for not having him in effing mercenaries :(. |
