Mortal Kombat for Vita confirmed!
#1
Didn't see this posted. Over at Giantbomb (skip to 20:35):
http://www.giantbomb.com/giant-bomb-...ay-02/17-4373/ Jeff Gerstmann had a chat with Ed Boon on Mortal Kombat and the future of the franchise, and said that they were in fact doing a version for Vita. I think this is the first official confirmation. Woo! |

Let's see how it's going in 3 years, when the PS4/Xbox 3 is out, and quick ports are no longer easy. (I'm not saying the PSV is doomed, but just be realistic going into it. IMHO, the best hope is strong Japanese support, just like it was for the PSP...) |

Considering Neatherrealm was one of the first developers to straight up say "Hey we got PSP2 kits," this isn't that surprising.
It does explain what the "I saw a game for a new system and it looked amazing" thing Gerstmann mentioned a while back was. |

The Vice President of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe Michael Denny stated that the developer budget for PSVita games are closer to PSP then it is to the PS3.
