It was about a year ago. And good news, theres more coming out soon. Bad news: They're from mcdonalds, where real food goes to die.

No it wasn't. I wasn't into this show until around the point bin Ladin died, sometime around when S1E25 "Party of One" was first airing (man, was that a surreal weekend). I hadn't gotten a toy from a fast food joint for many years by that point.

It was my neice's fourth birthday last weekend. I didn't really know what to get her, but I got a tip that she watches ponies and ended up getting the Pinkie Pie with RC car. I didn't think it would be a big hit, but apparently she has gone through 3 or so sets of batteries. And here I was thinking a little girl wouldn't care for a RC car. At least it's more fun than the train set I figure. Don't know what they were thinking there.

Indeed it was, between that and the Royal Wedding. Watching "Party of One" right after it aired was a nail-in-the-coffin moment for me.

It's just as well there isn't, honestly, since work asked me to come in this weekend. Again.

They've been doing that a lot, really. Started around S2E8, "May the Best Pet Win!", and kind of got ridiculous the day they aired S2E13, "Hearth's Warming Eve". I didn't get home until 6AM the next morning, watched that episode while the sun was slowly rising, and pretty much immediately went to bed. Man, another surreal weekend, that.

That's okay. We need a break once and a while to remind us how good we have it though the summertime is certainly going to be antagonizing. I really hope this show gets a full third season so we can keep the madness going at least one more year.
