Speaking of Spice and Wolf, anyone who bought the Blu-rays may want to consider returning them, or if you haven't bought them yet then... don't. It's an upscale. And the show was done in HD. The upscale isn't done well either - it's got smearing, edge enhancement, contrast/black level modification (which results in black crush), etc. Basically it's garbage, unfortunately. It's proper bluray for S1... But S1 was had an option of dvd or bluray. Not combined. The real answer lies in S2 if its a DVD case.

Limited edition is DVD/Bluray + Holo Coin.

The anime supposedly isn't running anywhere near long enough to reach the manga ending, so it isn't something you should really worry about being spoiled on.

It probably isn't what you would guess anyways, if that helps ease your mind.
