The important thing is that it is actually happening and is no longer some 'Oh, yeah. Maybe we'll get around to it sometime...in the future.'
They're actually dedicating a significant amount of their time to writing the motherfucker now. Hot Fuzz might be my favourite comedy EVER. |

Awful title though - when people hear the words 'At Worlds End' they'll recall the pirates film...and nobody wants to remember that.

JUST PLUG IT INTO MY VEINS!
I remember asking Wright back in 2010 when The World's End was coming and he said he he didn't expect it to happen for a long, long goddamn time. I'm so glad its finally coming together. |

I am actually suprised it's happening, what with Wright making box office poison (Scott Pilgrim), Pegg being Tom Cruises new pet and Frost...well no idea what does when Pegg isn't feeding him work.
As a fan of Spaced (their best work) I am bummed they are not still working with Jess / Daisy. |

Are you this cynical about all people, or just the ones who try to entertain you?

I saw Hot Fuzz and enjoyed it. Haven't seen Shaun of the Dead which I know is a mistake. Had no idea that the 2 have always been a part of some intended "trilog"
I also didn't notice that this thread was from 2011, so going from comments that say "They are gonna start writing a movie next month!" to "Movie written, gonna start shooting!" was slightly jarring. |

Paul had some studio interference and they had to dumb down the comedy. They spoke about it on Top Gear, although, they were still fairly positive on the whole experience.
