That's your new TOJ, yeah? It's awesome! I ended up missing out on their last batch before hiatus and you're making me wish I hadn't. Looks great, man! Digging the denim too, nice fit all around.
Alright guys, looking to buy a few more pairs of dress shoes. Found a couple online that I'm looking for some opinions on (click for detailed look). Thoughts?
Quote:
Dress shoes are one area of my wardrobe I'm severely lacking in, so I'm pretty unfamiliar with either brand/brands in general. Definitely open to suggestions, I can spend about $200. |

looks black are you sure it's brown
also paciotti tends to overdo it badly re: ornate detailing etc. check out franco cimadamore, bruno magli, and francesco andreazzi: http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/FRANCE...S/sts/sr_men80 ![]() don't know much about mirage but they look at least blake stitched. I like the color. |

I just got a 12% off coupon code for YOOX in my email (12BIRTHDAY@YOOX). Don't like black one, other one is ok. But those YOOX brands are hit and miss as far as quality goes. The Cerbero double monk strap was pretty decent. If you can wait, Nordstrom anniversary sale usually has some good Allen Edmonds model for around that price (Park Avenue, Strand, also rumored this year is the Player's Shoe and Clifton). If you are ok playing the factory seconds gamble, there's a sale on seconds and close outs starting June 14th I believe, if you google a bit you can get email and phone number of the AE outlet stores. Easiest way is to request a list in your size via email, have them reserve the shoes, then call in to give your credit card info. I've had some good luck buying through the outlets but YMMV. and I forgot, there's 2 good looking closeout shoes at AE's website right now for $249 Hale McClain

I like the look of these mirages: ![]() http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/MIRAGE.../sr_shoesmen80 I also like the look of solid body shoes (what's the official name?) like these: ![]() They're about 300 though, so out of your budget. Plus I don't know how well these retain their shape. They might get ugly fast.

1. Don't spend more than you'd be upset about losing due to shoe destruction. 2. Get a shade and/or style that will still look good when they're not completely immaculate anymore. |

I lurk the fuck outta this thread but now I have a specific conundrum:
I can wear shorts and sandals to work in the summer, and I'm good on shorts (some cargos, some non-cargos, plaids/plains, knee-level/slightly-above-knee, etc.) but what I'm not good on is footwear. I have a single pair of very comfortable sandals that I wear all the time, every day, and I'm tired of it. I want some shoes instead. So, for a work environment, what looks good with a wide variety of shorts that are also extremely comfortable? |

I've decided I'll wait and shop around for some nicer black dress shoes, maybe the Allen Edmonds if I can find a good sale. I'll probably still get the Mirage's, if so, I'll report back and let you guys know how they look/feel. Thanks again! |

Orion Belts (ebay store) I've also had good luck with Allen Edmond's outlet. Last sale I bought four belts that retailed for $100.00 or more each at $26.50.

Where do you guys buy your "everyday" socks?
I need some to wear with sneakers during the summer, so probably quarter-length, and others I can wear with higher-cut shoes like Clarks boots, so probably crew-length? I used to buy from stores like Finish Line, but recently I picked up a pack and noticed that they "shed" little balls of cotton all over the place after being washed once, and this doesn't really stop not matter how many times they've been washed. I'm not looking to spend too much (to give you an idea, the socks I used to buy where $10-12 per pack of 6 pairs, and were almost always BOGO). |

target.
http://www.target.com/s/c9+socks used to wear hanes and other brands of everyday socks, but they would stretch and/or scrunch up near my toes/bottom of my feet and would be super uncomfortable. these stay in tact/fitted a lot more consistently. i only wear white pairs for the gym and dress socks. i've purchased black socks before from foot locker and the whole black fuzz shedding thing happened too so i stopped wearing them. |

Where does manshionGAF buy its suits? I'm about to pull the trigger on this navy Aspetto wool suit for $ 299 on Gilt.
![]() I made the mistake of trying to buy from Jos a bank before reading up on them. Thankfully my card was declined because I exceed the $1k a day limit lol. |

Question dudes: I have a pinstriped three button brown jacket. It's part of a suit. Would wearing it with blue jeans and a white shirt look odd? I'm just curious on this. |

I don't normally have access to a full mirror, but I was doing some shopping today and I did. I played around with some different colors I had in my wardrobe and I was pretty happy with it. My shoes are the same color as my jacket, the lighting just makes them look dark, I swear.

Hey Manshion,
So I'm in China for the summer, the home of tailored......everything. I have enough regular suits so I thought I would try to conquer the Mandarin Color/Nerhu Suit. What do ya'll think? I paired it with white bucks/light blue socks. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...incollar.jpg/# |
