jk yeah i can see ppl not liking that, it took me quite a while to get used to it tho now i find it rather cute. its like expensive food, at first you may not like it, not cause its bad but because you dont know how to appreciate it
Tobe is a real sweetheart. I don't mind her smile when those chompers aren't out in full force, although I know what Milly is talking about. Thankfully Gillies has so much going on everywhere else that the smile doesn't matter much.
"The First Time" continues to get good reviews (Onion AV Club gives it an A-), and was listed as one of MTV's Five Most Buzzed About Movies at Sundance.
I have no idea what the future of this film is. It wasn't sold at Sundance but Wikipedia has a distributor listed for it (Focus Features) so it's possible it already had a distribution deal. No other site has any distribution or studio info whatsoever though, so I'm not sure. I was never expecting it to play in wide release, probably in limited release with a VOD deal but I honestly don't have a clue if we'll even see it at all. There is zero info out there.

Numbers fun! The minus account hit 200k views and is almost at 100 followers (which is more than any other user except for the co-founders, as far as I can tell). Considering it hit 100k views less than three weeks ago, I'd say Creepy-GAF content is starting to take off.
The OP has also received 8,000 hits and used up over 50gb of imgur's bandwidth. Not half bad.

I've seen a few episodes of this. I have mixed feelings on it. My main gripe with Schneider's shows has always been the way "nerdy" characters are treated on them. Granted, they're treated in a similar fashion on a lot of shows, but the fact that they're always portrayed as doormats, receptacles for abuse, and apparently less than human....I don't really find that funny at all. In fact, it's frightening to me that anyone thinks this is funny, especially on a show that's geared towards kids.
Please don't think I'm trolling here, because that's not my intent. I just want to see if there's anyone here who sympathizes or even knows what I'm talking about. Thank you.

Probably a lot more than that, this thread has 30 times as many views than posts. That's kind of normal for a thread though, although not one that only has a handful of active members and everyone else claims they avoid. The best metric for telling how many lurkers are around was the 2011 CGA voting. 4-5 times more people took the time to vote than we have active members. The views this thread gets aren't wildly out of line with other threads, it's just weird to think about how many people read it when it can feel like I'm talking to myself in here some days. I wish more lurkers participated but I can understand why they don't.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I was a Junior for the best part of a year because I got a little World Cup flag tag which meant that when I reached the big 3 0 0, I remained as a Junior. It took some pitiful begging from me until I eventually got Member'd by the Big Boss himself.
Basically, if I can last that long, you'll have nothing to worry about.
