Pilot was terrible, barely even cracked a smile throughout the whole episode. Damon Wayans Jr was the funniest part and he's not actually gonna be in the series. Yikes.
Though I guess I'm not in the target audience for the show, seems more aimed at chicks. I'm sure they'll eat this up especially if it gets paired up with Glee. It'll probably be the biggest new show of the season even though it's fucking awful. |

The pilot teetered between obnoxiously grating and dirty pleasure ULTRA-FLUFF. The pilot just moved way too fast and nothing made a (positive) impression.
Damon Wayans Jr is a funny guy. I mean, I've only seen him in Happy Endings and New Girl and he's great in both. It's a toss up between him and Adam Pally on Happy Endings as the funniest there. |

Watched the pilot. Coach character didn't work (wonder how his replacement will be), Schmidt didn't work. Lead dude could be alright. Zooey's schtick here seemed even more broad than it's ever been, which is a turn-off. Her character just simply couldn't exist.
