Found a gallery with a bunch of concept art, there's even some early stuff from when it was called lugaru 2.

Stick some gills on your blue lizard man and suddenly it's in Mass Effect and isn't "fucking furry shit". Paint some concentric circles on your anthro tiger monster it and it's not furry, it's a Digimon :D It's irrational to think that anthropomorphized animals = furry. |

I was practically raised by Looney Tunes and Disney (when my parents were too busy to feed me), so I love anthropomorphic animals.
Secret of Nimh, Redwall, too, were pretty big to me as a kid. Among others that I can't remember at the moment. It always infuriates me a little when I see people immediately hate something because it has anthropomorphic animals. I know most people aren't like that, but... goddamn. |

Why is it that the indie devs that create the best animation, animation that even shows up the big boys, love the most off-putting character designs?
This and skullgirls are 2 of the best games I've ever seen animation wise but goddamn they are both weird as hell. For the record, I had no idea what a furrie was before a couple of weeks ago. I'll be interested to see what the finished product looks like in any case. Edit: actually, I dont think this game is weird per say, just that the realistic nature of the combat just doesn't mesh well with the giant bunny combatants. It's almost like the violence needs to be more cartoony.

I've been okay with violent bunnies since Alice in Bloody Roar.
Speaking of that, was I the only one to pick up on that nod to Alice in Wonderland with that character? Alice... White Rabbit... Anyway, This looks great, and the concept art can really make the bunnies look fitting for the violence once they are properly dressed. (also, the jump animation needs some work; seems like a static frame after launch). |

If all gameplay developers were as awesome as this guy, games would be really amazing. Really impressive to see one guy making procedural animation system and really solid 3d free-form combat mechanics along with it. Also platforming seems really solid. Really, any system that he shows in the videos seem really elegant and smart. Jelly.

I don't think I agree with that evaluation. The fighting engine already looks solid and the great mod tools will allow for tons of content.
