I'm not overreacting. When I watch an entire episode of a sitcom and I don't even chuckle once then it's a bad episode. Even the depressing episodes about Marshall's dad's death and the fallout of it had funny parts. Last night's episode was boring.

So the chick at the end was a stripper and that's how she recognized Barney and knew all of his mannerisms. But he didn't recognize her.

After tonight's "twist", I hope this show gets cancelled before they ever say who the mother is, would be the greatest troll in television history.

They have called her "Aunt Robin" a hundred times in the future snippets, you know this is absolute trash and a dead end storyline. Next episode is called "No Pressure".

Show is renewed for one more season. Hopefully the last. Swap over to Happy Endings - great ensemble comedy, what this show used to be like.

Well Victoria said that Ted needed to resolve the Robin-Barney-Ted triangle. We've seen Robin and Barney not work out. But I really hope this Robin-Ted thing doesn't go anywhere. Ted is desperate, Robin's hurting, have it end quickly.

To be fair, I kinda like the idea of Barney dating a stripper, they just did it with stupid.

Anyway, after several strong episodes this season these past two have been duds. I'm still gonna stick with it because A) I'm 7 1/2 seasons deep at this point and B) This season has been excellent.

i dont think its a fake out, its more about ted finally moving on from robin, because victoria said he has yet to get over her because hes always around her. so this is the shows way of finally having ted get over that bridge.

Well, it's all relative. HIMYM at its best was one of the funniest, smartest and simply most enjoyable shows on TV. And it definitely has lost some of that charm. It's not really bad, but it's worse when you judge it against its own standards.

Ted marries Robin but she's not the mother (biologically or emotionally) of his children, and is thus Aunt Robin.

Barney marries the stripper but he can't have kids (biologically or emotionally, take your pic) either.

Ted fathers the kids with the stripper.

Ted and Barney live out their "raise a kid together" fantasy, but as we know their co-dad/bro-dad shit didn't work, so Ted is the dad and Barney is the uncle.
