I wouldn't say it's too soon. However due to the sketch not being good so far (at least imo), it feels like it's taking advantage of the situation.

Sketches that are based on controversial stories are best when they make smart points about the story itself (and are also funny).

This is just dumb.

The wire guy from the Super Bowl in a Trayvon sketch?

The Super Bowl was 3 months ago!!! I'm pretty sure that most don't even remember the act.

Betty White's prank show will never be as awesome as the Maya Angelou parody SNL did.

Big night for Jay Pharaoh, and finally a skit character that isn't a celebrity impression. Love Brolin's drunk character too.

Alright so this sketch almost made up for the rest of the show.

Good to finally see Jay getting a sketch that isn't a Black celebrity impression.

SNL is always hit or miss. It's hard to have every skit be amazing.

The two J-Pop America Fun Time Now skits are without a doubt one of the best things to ever come from this cast. The one with Jonah Hill had me loling pretty damn hard.

<nerd> I counted 3 j-pop skits (Anna Farris, Katy Perry & Jonah Hill) </nerd>

And for me the Les Jeunes de Paris skits are my fav's, but only if they load it up with French stereotypes.

John Mullaney (dude who writes the Stefan bits) intentionally rewrites them to insert goofy stuff last minute to trip up Hader.

"Baloney Danza" was one instance in a Stefan sketch a few months ago.

I dunno how they're making the J-Pop thing a recurring bit, they have to reiterate so much information every time just so the scene makes sense.

Due to Steve Harvey guest hosting a special week of "Millionaire", Steve got the job to be the host of "Family Feud". This SNL sketch was done shortly after Steve Harvey's guest hosting of "Millionaire".

Steve Harvey has been getting a lot of viral buzz from recent moments on Family Feud and Kenan's impression of Steve Harvey is pretty on point.

SNL should have some Family Feud sketches.

If Sudeikis, Wiig, and Samberg are leaving, they got to start hyping up some of new guys.

I don't know what people want from this show sometimes. If Garth and Kat is actually improv'd as advertised, it's brilliant. I laughed my ass off the whole episode.

Also, damn, Gotye nailed the first song. Wow.

Agree up to here. There was no skit I didn't enjoy and seeing Pharaoh do a character sketch again was awesome (still love his Doctor Frankenstein sketch from ages ago). Didn't watch Garth and Kath past the Battleship movie reaction though, can't stand them; but I can understand a lot of the characters those three are known for being paraded out in the next couple weeks so we get one last look at them before they leave.

I gotta ask, who played the 'uncool' band member in the slow-mo hallway? Was it McKinnon or Elliott?

Linda!?

Something I meant to post after the latest episode.

Has Josh Brolin got some kind of deformity? He looks like a full height midget, particularly in the 'Empire State Parody' sketch. I couldn't focus on what was being said it was weirding me out so much. His head looked ENORMOUS in relation to the size of his arms.
