A video of all the cars. Probably want to skip this if you're waiting for the final game and want to be surprised.

So which version do I get? - regular - limited edition - speed wheel + 4za $99 pack I want to get a family member the speed wheel and F1 2011. But maybe theres a good reason to get the LE? Is there ? I am Getting the season pass so does it cover the cars you get with the LE? So I'm set on speed wheel plus 4za plus season pass. Unless anyone can convince me otherwise. Nothing cool like a Forza keychain so rhose other non game extras mean nothing to me. |

So is it definite that assists are still forced in Forza 4? I just don't for the life of me understand why Turn 10 don't listen and remove this. What's the point in having a simulation mode or calling yourself a realistic sim if you force assists? Can it really be that hard to remove?
It's really disappointing as it played a big part in stealing the interest out of Forza 3 for me (I prefer Forza 2 for this very reason, though I can't confirm there isn't any assist in that either, the driving/handling physics certainly feel more accurate). If I'd just invested in a CSR, I'd be more annoyed at this news. Anyway, still after a second hand GT2 so anyone selling drop me a PM! |

The forcefeedback is fantastic and the feel of every aspect is heavenly. Its just that one issue of 1:1 steering input. Which sorta is the most important thing. Just watched that Inside Sim racing preview and the graphics of the game are fucking insane. The cars look great in game. The backgrounds are now behind the cars in realism. But they look much better than before Almalfi Coast looks hot. Laguna Seca looks realistic finally. |

ok, haven't been able to stop playing for hours...
I figure, I'll just do the amateur level in world tour.... Then I decided to check out the marketplace a bit.... then bought the Savannah RX-7...so had to upgrade it... then spend hours tuning the thing (have it at a perfect B500)... of course, I HAD to check out the new shapes in the vinyl editor (which are so awesome, by the way) then I decided to check out Autovista, which is just pure, unadulterated car-porn... then I noticed that each locked car in AV mode had a specific challenge to unlock it...so I had to do a few... In all, this game will just eat up so much time, it's fantastic...though I do have some little gripes.. First....in upgrading the RX-7, I did notice that THERE IS NO 20B. What the fucking hell is this? Your choices for engine swaps are the Spirit-R engine and the Furai's powerhouse (which is a laughable thought, considering it's twice the size of the engine bay). There is no classic 3-rotor, you can't swap in a Renesis, and you can't swap in a piston engine (though why would you want to?). I really don't understand why they wouldn't have the 20B, since it's been in every other Forza this generation. Second...as cool as Autovista is, it really feels like there are major missed opportunities. The Clarkson voice overs are cool (they're also printed word-for-word in the book that comes with the LE) but the technical voice-overs are sorely lacking. They too often just say what you're looking at. I don't need someone to tell me "These are wheels with five spokes" if I'm looking at 5-spoke wheels. And then they hammer home each 'fact' by stamping it on the screen in bold letters "5-SPOKE WHEELS"! I was hoping for a bit more tech spec trivia...like the weight of the wheels, or just something that I wouldn't be able to figure out just by glancing at the car. Also, when you click on the tech bits, you get these cool up-close-and-personal camera angles that really show off the surfaces and modelling. But when you're just in free-look, it's like you're not allowed to get up close to the car. The way around this is by using photomode, but that takes something away from the experience. |

I feel that next gen, they WILL deliver. They have proven their point with these gorgeous visuals and amazing audio. Next step, absolute immersion with the likes of weather, night, perhaps a little off roading. Next gen, palm sweating, heart pounding A.I and a souped up damage model. Throw in a plethora of customization/upgrades and tuning possibilities never before seen and I swear, you will have a RACING MEGATON that shall echo through the ages! But for now, I shall bask in the glorious incubation that is FM4......... |

It's the Renesis 20B, yes, but I don't think I'd compare it to what sits in a Cosmo...I'm just surprised that they had the classic 20B in F2 and F3, but wouldn't have it here. I'd expect them to just add the Furai's engine and also give the option of swapping in the Renesis from the RX8

So there's a way to 'fix' that steering wheel glitch?
