Can confirm tyre load indicator, its hidden in the quick options menu. At first it looks a bit silly and gets no big amplitude in normal cars but just messing around in an lmp car and the indicator goes crazy. Together with the 3 tuning sheets(save slots) a very welcomed tuning help !

edit: cockpit view in open lmp cars is awesome ! In normal cars not so, was hoping we would see a bit of the hood.

Wow, track loading is quicker - I used to run a small SSD in my PS3 just for this game, but then put the HDD back once save game transfers were fixed in an update.

Like the Course Settings option - change the weather and it immediately stops raining and the sun comes out!

I think for the open cars, it is just the existing model for the car used as a cockpit.

I notice loading an event might be faster but you still have to wait for the cars to load up before starting the race. Like the player list will have the car names change color when they're loaded.

Doesn't suprise me tbh. It took me 3 hours just to download 600meg worth of updates last week for GT5. Takes me under 3 mintues to do the same for a 750meg Portal 2 update on Steam.

Was downloading this GT5 update with '27minutes left' at the start and it just keeps on climbing. It says 102 minutes left now for me at 27%

Just loaded Nurburgring Type V in 5 seconds flat from the Free Practice menu.

The bar was progressing really slow for the first couple seconds and I thought "Oh, no big change" then boom, zoomed and filled the entire thing. Went right into race options.

So good.
