There's no joke. I'm just venting because I was searching the GTS for a Japanese Ditto today and of the 5 that I found, 3 were shiny and 4 were asking for unreasonably low-levelled Legendaries. This comic was just the first thing that came to my mind.

On topic, is anyone willing to spare a Japanese Ditto that I can Masuda with? I traded my old one to a friend who's going on vacation.

Seems pretty balanced to me, though it seems a little redundant having two fighters on it. Perhaps replace Lucario with a dragon? Oh and you have Gengar so I love your party already. Blaziken isn't too bad either even though I prefer it's first two forms more.

Mudkip I believe is my second favorite. I found out about the Mudkip meme much, much later. (being that I had the game on the first day it was out in 2003)

I use Chikorita quite often because I like Meganium more than the other final forms of the Johto starters.
Not exactly a fun starter to use though.

OK, I've started the challenge. I've named my female character "Shazam", and I'm playing with these rules:

-Only first Pokemon encountered in a new area may be captured (I'm allowing a second chance if the first Pokemon is already in my party/box- if the 2nd Pokemon isn't caught, nothing is. Somewhat of a harsher dupe clause than normal but eh.)
-No dupes allowed if Pokemon is currently "alive"
-Faint = permadeath, Pokemon must be released, revives banned
-Losing a battle is game over, must delete save
-Battle style = set

Items, hold items and running is all kosher. Team so far:

-TURTWIG, lvl 7, Littleroot
-BIDOOF, lvl 4, Rt 201
-Captain the Starly, lvl 6, Lake Verity

I just caught a Shinx on the route above Sandgem. What should I call it? I forgot to nickname the others :lol
