I believe when someone actually broke down the numbers of fouls called Duke was not statistically over any of the other college basketball bluebloods. In fact it just proved that successfull teams that win a lot tend to win the FTA by a consistent margin. So no, Duke does not get "all the calls". I'm sure I cold dig up UKs stats, and find that you have a similar differential.
The year Duke last won the title, they were number 4 in the ACC in fouls called vs fouls awarded. You can probably figure out who number 1 was that year.

I have the opposite view. I'm worried we're going to be intimidated by the venue, national television, etc. and come out tight and play tentative, and if we do that and get in some early foul trouble it will be a long and tense night.

I still think we can win in the above scenario but it would be extremely difficult.

Who ever said I don't respect K? I think he's a hell of a coach and a damn good person.

Appling must have gotten some of that shit that made Zona go into beast mode last season. This time it was just one dude.

Well, weak compared to the recent squads Kansas has had. I'd be shocked if they didn't make the tournament however, so definitely not weak compared to everyone else.

Good win by Ohio state tonight, especially with how well uf was shooting early. Did a very nice job of limiting turnovers. And the biggest plus was seeing the team play well when sully was out.
