Who Is Tested? We're just a bunch of dudes who really, really love technology. No, not in a I'm-gonna-hump-your-Kindle kind of way, but in a wholesome, all-American I-just-want-to-test-out-all-the-latest-gear-and-see-if-it's-awesome! kind of way. Collectively, we've written about everything from PC hardware, e-book readers, and smartphones to squirt guns and Internet porn--not to mention games, video, and a whole boatload of other stuff over the last 10 years. If we didn't have a day job that let us test out all the latest gear as soon as it was out, we'd probably just spend a LOT of money on this stuff. Also, Tested is a part of WhiskeyMedia, just like GiantBomb, ComicVine, Screened, and AnimeVice.

While I've always enjoyed this podcast, I feel that they have leveled up their game after enduring the 24 hour cast. Everything feels snappier with a good flow to it.

Tested is one of my top 5 favorite sites! I recently realized I really enjoy their coffee equipment testing and kinda wish they would branch out into larger kitchen ware coverage. I would be interested in crockpot reviews or just handy altonbrown-esque in the kitchen DIY tips.

I really wish they had the time or resources or whatever it is they are lacking to add more content to the site. As it stands, we generally just get the "App of the Day" video. I wonder if they are spending all of their time making Tested: The Show?

which inversely makes me more interested with the podcast.

A lot of the info are 'repeated' for bombcast if you tend to keep up with their site. Tested stuff is usually done by freelancers and/or other people not around in whiskeybase.

Also every member has some real-life flaws that show up and it's easy to like them for that reason too. Will talks before he thinks, Gary doesn't think - he feels, and Norm is a hipster. And all of them have respectable backgrounds and actually know what they are talking about.

Two of my biggest and most favorite podcasts since old 1UP stuff are Bombcast and This is Only a Test and it's so fucking awesome they are part of the same company and cross streams every now and then.

I'm glad someone finally came out and said ASoIaF is garbage. Been saying it on GAF for years (and just yesterday in the what are you reading thread). I wish Martin would just sell the rights to the world and let someone who can write take the world and characters forward.

You're wrong on Kingkiller though, Will. The second one is terrible.

Game of Thrones(book) was great. I have not read any of the other books, but the consensus is they are good.

I genuinely liked the first one. After that they are terrible. Martin is a very bad writer. I don't care what the consensus says. The consensus liked According to Jim.
