Trooper... they really do everything they can to get rid of me in this game, lol. My trooper is far from being OP. I die, and die a lot, as soon as a mob as over a certain amount of HP. I coudn't say for PvP, but if you balance your game for PvP there is always a Nail that sticks out. Oh well.

I think Sorc's/Sages are more in need of a nerf than Troopers/BH's. The latter are far easier to lock down due to their reliance on only one move.
Will be interesting to see how they go about it regardless. I'd rather see buffs to other classes rather than nerfs. Like that'll happen though. Biowares answer to everything so far has been nerf.

You cant log/zone to reset your crew missions anymore either; meaning you are stuck waiting it out or paying for something you don't want to run. Now with the incoming nerfbat to classes all across the board, and without the possibility to switch to the other branch of a class (without re-rolling), they have to be careful or lose more players imho. |

Torhead also has data bout the upgraded versions. What item did you try it with? |

Yup, and its funny since this game kinda has that with abilities like guard which have pvp specific functions listed aside from its pve usage. Would be much better if they simply added to current abilities some different functionality for use against enemy players. They did it already with that, keep doing it!

Nerfing someone in pvp also nerfs them in pve... which is shit for everyone. |

The devs have gone on record multiple times stating that for the March update they're making it so you can remove Armorings/Hilts/Barrels from epic gear, including being able to transfer set bonuses to other equipment.

Granted, there's certainly a possibility I heard wrong information, but personally I'm inclined to believe that these upgrades are in the game, just very hard to acquire. |

There is no upgraded version of a crafted rakata piece. There is only crit crafting to add an augment slot. Whoever told you that was obviously talking about green/blue gear being upgraded when REing it. Torhead's database is completely worthless, its filled with tons of things from beta that no longer exist anymore. Along with things that are impossible at the moment like Orange armor with augment slots.

In other news, for anyone running AMD cards and still experiencing flickering, this is dated yesterday: ![]() Try it and see if it fixes your problem. |

Last night my client crashed while the victory screen was loading on a 4-4 huttball match and I received no credit for the win... our team possessed the ball at the end of the game.
This would also have been my third win for the daily. the game ran better for me in beta than it does now :[ I am debating taking a brake from the game till they work this stuff out /rage |

I wouldn't worry. They said they wanted to make JK/SW's better, so assume they are just nerfing everything and everyone until eventually the JK/SW's will be awesome.

I run with a stable group which is lucky because healwise in the current state of the game I cannot figure out why you would not just run with all Sorcs |

That can only occur when talking about purple schematics with a prefix. If your item follows the prefix path, and becomes an Artifact when it gains a Tier 1 Prefix, you can reverse engineer that Tier 1 Prefix item until you gain all 5 of it's Tier 2 Prefixes. (Reverse engineer the base item for the other two Tier 1 Prefixes and reverse engineer those for 5 more Tier 2 Prefixes each. Redoubt is currently bugged and only has 4 Tier 2 Prefixes.)
Rakata items dont have prefixes. THEY DONT UPGRADE. |

Yeah. I love my heals trooper, but I don't feel like I have any advantages. No in-combat revive, AOE only heals 3 people for ~1k (assuming you have all the perks), we only have one instant heal (~1.5k) on a 20 second cool down. We have great resource management, but doing any DPS skills will kill our ammo. Due to the cast nature of our spells, we also have to stand still, making it difficult for bosses with AOE. We're also of no use during the fall against Soa.

So like Vader and Luke are part of the Skywalker legacy, all your characters will/can be related in some way, father, brother etc....although how you do that has not been revealed yet. There will be other perks as you gain Legacy levels but again, we don't have any details yet. Also, just read this in the Q&A: AeonKwiz: Are you planning on adding Social Gear for Medium and Heavy Armor characters? Daniel Erickson: Yes! Expect to see the first new gear coming in Game Update 1.2 and some dramatic changes to the social gear system just around the corner afterward. Fuck yes. |

Q&A also confirms that dual specs are coming. And the return of the match color option!
There isn't just cosmetic differences. They are just unlocking more class/race combos using legacy system. I'm more interested in the perks they mentioned before, which as I've said before sound like the little perks you can put points into in the Warhammer Online renown system. |

That's pretty cool. Personally my preference is a clock-style GCD indicator. Like the entire thing starts out with the white tint and then a needle sweeps around clockwise, removing white tint as it goes.
To me that's the easiest to make sense of, as it's still easy to tell when your ability is on cooldown even when it's very close to the end. |

That UI customization is pretty nice. I am looking forward to what they offer up for the rest of the UI - soon hopefully, rather than later.
On another note, for people on Keller's Void - I am deleting some names that I have been hoarding, as I pretty much have never played on that server since early access. If you would like to snag any of these names, just send me a PM and what time you will be able to log on to claim them and we can work something out. Kinda random, I know, but I figure there has to be some people that are as particular about names as I am that potentially would like these names for themselves. Anyway, they are: Katana (My never to be Shadow) Femshep (Trooper obv) Murasame (Jedi Knight) Slicer (Smug) I also have "Shin" as my legacy name on KV is Akuma, but I doubt anyone is going to really want that. Deckard was taken by a Republic GAFer while I was on tonight. In-game name on KV is Gouki. In other news, my assassin is coming along nicely. Full Champ, but still no Battle Masters after 6 bags. At least the grind is good. I am presently trying out a tank/madness hybrid spec for fun.

Why not just add numbers?
I can't get confused with a 1 or 2 like I can with a tiny sliver on the bottom of a small icon at a glance. The same thing goes for HoTs on party frames. It was such a pain in the ass to refresh my HoT as a scoundrel on party members because the icon was so small I couldn't see the cooldown graphic on it.
