No. Some of my friends on Steam are like this: at max 5 games, and each is played at least 50 hours, with the exception being Faerie Solitaire with about 15 hours of playtime.

That would mean that they have been using Steam for at least 265 hours, which might be considered long by some. It's primarily "new to Steam" and "high playtimes" that are mutually exclusive.

Yeah, that sucks. I want people to see what I'm playing or at least my last achievements unlocked for every game and not just one :(

Is anyone else having problems with Steam achievements? I haven´t gotten achievements registered for beating the fourth level of Shatter and beating Defence Grid, even though I should have had them now. I did have a connection to Steam when they should have been registered, I know that since friend list and chat was working during that time.

Thanks to those who made backlog suggestions for me, btw. I decided to go with Bastion, and having played the first 4 stages now, it's extremely enjoyable and very, very atmospheric! I just hope it doesn't end too prematurely and leave me wanting more.

If that 1C space collection was 75% off too I'd buy that in a heart beat. I remember having some fun with Space Rangers 2 at some point. Enough to buy it on steam at least.

Go to your Device Manager and disable all HID-compliant devices.
It's actually a weird bug that happens in a few other games too. The Kane & Lynch games, Ninja Blade and I think a few other games.

I had to disable a lot of my USB devices in device manager to improve the framerate in that game.

Try to build yourself a small band of mercenaries and level them up by killing looters and weak bandits (like forest bandits). Take quests from town mayors and nobles (make sure they're easy, like collecting taxes, rescuing kidnapped daughters, sending letters, taking out a bandit camp, etc.) and explore. Visit each town's tavern and hire named heroes, those adept in healing will be specially useful (like Jeremus), but good fighters are really useful too (like Firentis).

If you make good enough rep with a noble, they might ask you to join their ranks as a mercenary, and later they'll invite you to pledge allegiance to them, eventually granting you a feud. All of those things are pretty cool, so try to find a noble you like and do a bunch of his quests.

Finally, install the diplomacy mod (http://mountandblade.nexusmods.com/mods/1887). If you want to use the same save as before, install it, select the diplomacy module from teh dropdown box in the M&B launcher and start a new game. Then save and quit the game, go to Documents/Mount&Blade Warband Savegames/Diplomacy. Erase everything there, copy your save from documents/Mount&Blade Warband Savegames/Native and paste it inside Diplomacy. It should work, but it's not 100% certain.

If you want some more/better advice let me know, I love this game and the more people enjoying it the better.

I started playing BEEP from my backlog. While I'm sure it is not the most impressive of platformers, I must say that I am enjoying my time with it. The shooting feels great at least.

I finished BEEP yesterday and I liked. The first world isn't that great, but it gets better later. One of the things I liked the most is the pacing. Each world changes the way you play a little, the first level being easy and the others being progressively more challenging.
