Los Angeles |OT| GAF's Guide to the Greatest City in the Universe

![]() This thread is about Los Angeles, the people in it... and most importantly, which restaurant around LA is the best in each category. My favorite place for burritos has got to be El Tepeyac in City Terrace where you can get the Manuel's special...big giant burrito that can feed a family of 4. |

The only real King Taco is on 3rd street in east LA
I'll take a pic of the 10 freeway near my house at 4 PM (near cal state LA)...it'll work :*(
Actually this part of LA is like more Chinatown than probably anywhere else in the U.S.

If I had a time machine, I would go back and tell the LA city planners to make every freeway twice as wide.
No, four lanes on each side will not do for the freeway that passes through downtown. It will not do at all. Not sure. I just did an image search for "405 traffic". |

When they finally build the "pink line" subway that follows the Santa Monica boulevard, I will be taking that all. the. time.... In 2020.
Literally nothing about LA's urban planning even suggests "thinking ahead." |

It'll never happen in our lifetime. No money and BH has been fighting it every step of the way. They don't want riffraff in THEIR part of town. :/
