...Did somebody just say long hair...

What photos are we talking about exactly... ;P

He posted some pages ago. Very long and nice. Long hair always makes me smile :D

Not even close to one of my records! When I first got put on amantadine, my doctor was like "pay attention to these possible side effects" (one of which was trouble sleeping) and on the second or third day I was asleep for close to an entire day. Went to bed close to midnight and woke up the next day around quarter to eleven. I didn't stay on it for that long, shit was useless for me.

I hate sleeping for very long, honestly. 9 hours makes me feel like I've wasted the day.

I do actually remember when I was a kid staying at a friend's house when his parents were away. I stayed up for two nights running. On the 3rd night I got home and went straight to bed. I remember waking up thinking it was the next day, but realised quite quickly it was still dark. I looked at the time and it was 1 am in the morning. It was a proper mindfuck though because I knew I had slept quite a while. It turned out that I had slept the whole night, the whole day and all the way up to the next night. I just went back to bed. lol

I want to go to Insubordination Fest

Stupid flights costing >£500

EDIT: Is it bad that I kind of want to become famous and win some form of music award purely so that I can just insult everyone in the audience in my speech?

Jesus fucking christ. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and tell myself to pick a project that I can work on at home. All this electronics crap is making no sense and we only have a few weeks left to finish this and I am fucked.

I'm apparently getting...40 volts? Even though I'm only giving the board 6.

HOW.

JUST.

WHAT?!

I might be able to help since I teach in this field. PM me if you want.

edit: Taking a few photos of your board and what you're doing won't hurt.

Ever have one of those days where you're insanely pissed off but really cant narrow down exactly what the main cause is? That's me.

To be honest, I think I know what's going on but I need to see the system to know if its the same scenario.

It most likely is a stability issue.

Always Be Improving.

I like this one. Personally, I defer to the wisdom of Colonel Sandurz. "DO SOMETHING!"

It's all the same basic thing, though. :)

Frat/Bro: "Duuude, don't tell me you like that.....CHINESE shit!"

Raw: "Yes.....yes I do. I love Japan. <3"

Good alternate answer: "Great things are great no matter where they came from."

I've come up with a system for the mornings of days where you haven't been to sleep yet, where it's a combination of the two days. So like, if it's early Monday morning, it'd be Smonday, Tuesday is Muesday, Wednesday is Tuenesday, Thursday is Wursday, Friday is Thiday, Saturday is Faturday and Sunday is Satunday. And it continues to be that until like 6 or 7ish in the morning, or until you go to sleep.

I know a lot of people who would agree with you that Thursday is Wursday. Oddly, Friday was Thiday (so to speak) for me. :D

Good news! I got tickets to my favourite topless nerd party campout drinky dancy fire thing! In prep for and and anticipation of this, I started double-hooping while watching old television shows. I'm getting in around a hundred minutes a day, save for Thiday, which involved only thirty-eight minutes of unrelated exercise. Celebrating with Smarties now, yum. ^_^

I was in a fraternity.

One time I had my SNES hooked up in my room, and I was playing Final Fantasy 6. One of my dudebro bros came into the room. He looked at the screen, then looked at me.

Him: What's this?
Me: Final Fantasy 6. It's an RPG.
Him: It looks pretty faggoty.
Me: Yeah, well... *shrug*
Him: Okay, later, bro...

I know a lot of people who would agree with you that Thursday is Wursday.

Thursday was Wursday, but now I drink champagne when I'm thirstay.

I found this line interesting:

“Women are really motivated by the idea of school achievement,” says Bogle. “They’ll say, ‘I’ll get a master’s degree next!’ They want to climb that ladder.”

Right now many MANY of my girl friends are doing post graduate work (if not a Master's Degree.) They want to learn more, get better jobs. In comparison to my guy friends, which is... one. And he quit before finishing. Now, I'll be the first to say that university education isn't for everyone, but it's interesting to see this divide.

Just realized something kinda odd about facebook.

Basically, what I do in the morning is go down the news-feed and like or comment on every status that I find somewhat interesting. I probably leave 50-100 comments a day and like maybe 100 status updates per day.

What I've just realized is that for some of these poor souls, I am literally the only person replying to them. Their wall will look like this:

Sad Dude: "Random status update"
*Puddles likes this

Sad Dude: "Earlier random status update"
*Puddles likes this
Puddles: "Random comment"

Sad Dude: "Even earlier status update"
*Puddles likes this

My system only works if people have a robust network going on. If I'm the only person replying, I look like some crazy stalker, even if that shit represents less than 1% of my total facebook activity for the week.

Finishing the article, it irritates me the claim that women are turning to other women for relationships because they see men as sad. I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with it guys.

Fuck that article. The young men aren't men because the generation currently on its way out would rather outsource and convert entry-level jobs to unpaid internships so they can make that last million before retirement, rather than give today's young people the same chances they had.

Edit: n/m. Fuck this Connor dude. I would literally weep with joy if my parents had friends who gave me their cards and told me to call them up for a job offer. That would be amazing.

At 24, I lived on my own and made a lot more money than the average 24 year old.

God, things were amazing before the recession. Now I'm almost 28, and I make half of what I did back then.

Me too. Working in Japan was a pretty sweet deal. I sometimes think it would just be easier to work there again, but if I did that I would feel as though I were moving backwards. I don't want to walk back over my footsteps.

What's this now?

Playa del Fuego, a regional Burning Man event. Sort of a five night collaborative potluck campout. People wear clever outfits, or none at all, or they make really cool and inventive technical wonders or cook meals for others or give folks heat or put on an acrobatic show or play music and flash lights around and have dance parties or whatnot. I usually bring along hoops for people to spin with. Last time, I brought a ball pit. There was much love for that.

Well she was proooobably talking about outside of work, but she's kidding herself if she wants maturity out of MOST people who are 24, women included (apologies to the below 25 crowd. I keep you guys in my exceptions bin.)

In fairness, working at a place that creates fun for kids is not actually all kicks and giggles. It is likely mostly paperwork and business meetings.
