I don't think I've seen this posted yet, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus got an 8.0 on IGN.

Edit: Never mind, it was posted last week. I must have missed it somehow.

My 4GB memory card is saying it won't show up until Thursday, which sort of sucks that it wasn't wrapped into the release date shipping with the unit itself.

Yeah, that's nuts.

I'm in Japan using pocket Wifi playing Fifa online against Captain N who's in the States, we're both using party chat with no issues what-so-ever, what makes it more amazing is the other dude who joined our party chat was playing Wipeout2048 online. It's nuts to think a handheld is capable of such things, what makes it more amazing is that the PS3 is unable to do this. Welcome to the future.

Wifi Vita is 25th for 2012, which is one behind Mass Effect 3 which has had 400k preorders this year if you want to get all scientific.
It's one behind the Limited Edition of Mass Effect 3. Regular Edition ME3 is #9

Hmm, the price of the 32GB memory card seem to have increased on PlanetAxel, that's some real bs.
I'm a little hesitant to try order again and I don't know where else to get the 32GB - Amazon US doesn't ship to Europe.

Yeah, I can already tell it may end up having to grow on me. But that's what I love about these launch games, the variety has allowed me to try games I don't normally play and it's awesome.

It's basically FIFA 11, special moves and all. Online play is extremely solid. Only had one laggy game out of about a 12.

As far as I can tell it plays very similar to its consoles counter part with the edition of front and rear touch. It's AWESOME! Go buy it!

iPhone version is a port of PS2 FIFA 12, which hasn't changed since FIFA 09 or something.

Vita version is a port of PS3 FIFA 11.

I'd say the difference is immense.

yeah, 1 on 1. that screenshot was taken in the middle of a game. I was playing someone from Japan while I played here in the states. It was smooth as butter online. I think it might be one of the must have launch titles for the Vita.

This is one of the biggest reasons why I may migrate most of my gaming time to the Vita.

Obviously I'll still play the big consold productions, but all the PSN/XBLA styled gaming will be pretty much exclusive on the Vita from here on out if there's an option between either a console version or a Vita version.

The whole system is just designed so slickly that it's a lot more appealing than what the PSP was.

The first time you power on the system, it should just come on, but give the user the option to skip it. I think most people aren't even going to see this app.

Ummm, another round of standard question to pass the time:

- I'm assuming every US system sold is under warranty regardless of the retailer, correct?

- Has any FEB user noticed the black blotches on the screen that some JP users had? Anyone knows if that's inherent to OLED screens or if it warrants a replacement?

- Has anyone figured out whether the ugly shortcuts *coughadscough* at the bottom of the Index menu (PS button twice) can be turned off or controlled?

I'm kinda miffed that tactical defending is out, but as long as the AI isn't crazy like in 11 and you can actually dribble around the penalty box without homing missiles locking in on you, I'll be more than happy with the game.

Black blotches are inherent to OLED screens in the dark so don't worry about them.

I highly doubt you can turn off the ads but if you can, I would like to know how as well.

- One year standard warranty with extra two via playstation protection plan via PSN Store.

- Black botches are common to OLED.

Probably a 1 yr warranty. Obviously, keep your receipt. Don't assume a retailer will just replace your Vita on-the-spot if its broken, under warranty. Depending on the retailer, they may have to send it in for repairs first. And if they have to replace it, don't assume you're getting a brand new untouched one, you might end up getting a refurbished unit.

Don't worry, Dungeon Hunter isn't selling nearly as well. It just jumped a higher percentage (1.459 to 149) compared to Hot Shots (103 to 15).
