It worked.
I'm cautiously optimistic. It's looks different than the other three in just about every way. And Hirsch gave that same scene to Cross when he asked him, "will you commit to this program?" like he did to Bourne at the end of Ultimatum Quite interesting to see that Aaron Cross is a different animal than Jason Bourne altogether? Judging by the trailer, that woman says they've never seen anything like Cross before. And I'm still not liking the hand to hand combat. Looks plain and boring. At least with kali, we got fast, fluid movements with Bourne inmprovising. |

Big Jeremy Renner and Tony Gilroy fan.. but that looks meh.
You mean the take on the Inception trailer music that every single trailer uses now? Fail indeed. |

I'll take an ugly mofo who I can stand in an action role rather than a pretty boy who's serious expressions make me laugh out loud. |

More action than the other films. Maybe Gilroy just said "I don't give a fuck" and just wrote whatever the hell he wanted. The script that Gilroy wrote for Identity was awful.
The first Bourne film didn't have much action. It was more of a solitude chase of cat n mouse, with Bourne and Marie trying to figure out who he is. On the other end, we had two antogonists, and that was basically it. Followed with John Powell's non-conventional music in the films, it allwowed the spy/action/thriller genre to deviate from the norm we saw during the 80s/90s. I just cannot see Bourne running through a bulding covering his face while bullets are being sprayed through windows, or jumping onto trees like Tarzan. |

Problem is that Greengrass got pissed when Universal hired a ghost writer to make a parallel script for Bourne 4. Greengrass bailed out, and so did Damon. Damon's fascination with Greengrass is odd. He should've just gone back to Liman. |

Trailer didn't do anything for me

I'm finding it difficult accepting another after watching the development of Bourne. Universal thinks people are interested in the world more so than the character, but their decision to include Bourne into the title of this film suggests they understand the importance of Damon's character to the franchise. I'll be honest and admit I wouldn't mind this failing so Greengrass and Matt return.

There were a lot of scenes that Gilroy wrote that were different than the final cut of the film.
And the dialogue, good LORD. Take for instance the scene out in the country with the professor. While the professor is dying, you see both agent's humanity. The professor says to Bourne, "Look at this. Look at what they make you give.." In Gilroy's script, the professor says, "at least you got laid" and dies. |
