Don't listen to the negatives here. You can totally find a cute awesome girl on these websites. You'll also find a lot of lame girls, or ones where you have nothing to talk about, but thems the risks of dating anyone.
Also a possibility. But I dated a girl for a few months who later admitted to me that I was just a "free dinner" at first, but was just too damned adorable to stop dating. Then again I also got the girl who got a phonecall mid-date and said her mom was sick. I was so pissed that I gave her a ride to her car, and stood there until she drove off, just to force her to keep the lie going.

50/50 split all the way. If they don't like it, then it was never going to work. |

*now jealous* Ain't this the truth. Mostly because I don't like sitting there thinking "Oh Jesus I have to make a Futurama reference here... don't do it!" |

OKC worked for me, but obviously finding someone is only the first step. |

Warning: OKCupid girls are flaky. I've gotten a few dates but never a real relationship out of it. Including "I loved our date, of course I'd be glad to have another" followed by apparently her uncle being injured in a car accident followed by never getting a response again.
I'm not extremely impressed with the average quality of people on it, which is why I left. But if you find what you're looking for, awesome. I'd just be wary about the above. |

oh lord. This. So much this.
TC... Let me tell you a little story. I used Yahoo's dating service years ago. This amazingly good looking blonde actually messaged me and thought we should get together. We spoke a number of times on messenger and then met up at a restaurant a couple of weeks later to get dinner. Meet said girl, she's just as good looking as in her pics, sit down to order food and I try to get the conversation going... *SMACK* She slaps my face (not too hard, but not softly either) "Stop looking at me!" *laughs* "Umm, okay... So, how about ... yadda yadda?" *SMACK* "You're cute, stop staring at me though!" *laughs* This continued for the entirety of the dinner. I shit you not. We drive to a ice cream place afterwards and it was the same thing. I drove her back to her car afterwards and said, "Get out of my car. I want to go home." She flipped out and asking me what the hell was wrong with me. I replied, "You've been hitting me in the face for the last 3 hours! You don't do that to someone you just met!" (Granted, I wouldn't hit someone in the face that I had met long ago, but you get the point.) |

No, he censored the link(but it was still to imgur) to prevent anything and it was a nude woman with her hair covering her boobs. |

yup. I met my fiance on plentyoffish, the other free one. she was up front in her profile by saying she likes cartoons (read: anime) and video games, which intrigued me. similar to OP's aperture science shirt girl
