because functionally the keyboard does the same thing the mpd does, essentially. And you can trigger more samples, and of course, actually use it as a keyboard.

The couple of songs I've heard off that Pharoh tape are dope.
Also, for whatever reason, after 10+ years of attempting to get into El-P, something finally clicked. Been listening to all his shit for the past 3 days. |

We've gone too long without talking about IDL remix so here's Pusha T's unedited verse.

Well, with the pad you can trigger 16 samples, w the keyboard you can trigger as many keys as you have.

That beat sounds like a fake jedi minds or wu tang beat. They looped a sound they liked and threw drums on it... lazy
Also it sounds better with flocka on it.

That beat is 10+ years old. And two, No Wu or Jedi track sounds like that. Not even close. That Kick and clap combo is not something the Wu or Jedi would use out of their drum packs. That beat is something Cool & Dre would do. Just by kick and breaks. Very similar to lean back. The way the sample is chopped and looped. And you don't understand french, so your opinion on Flocka sounding better is retarded. Booba killed the game when he drop that track in 2K1 on the french Rap scene. There's no such thing as a lazy beat, junior. Digging for the right loop and samples is not fucking easy.

*Watches Goldie*
Every rapper got shoot a video in Paris now? Smh. Can't hate on the visuals, but damn. Follow the leader type shit for real. Wonder why they edited out that part in Pusha's verse. It kinda added to it. |

Aside from the blatant YO WE'RE IN PARIS bit of the Goldie video, I kinda like it. The video has a real old school vibe to it.
Beat is good but man those verses suck ass. Also: I Don't Like Remix with the extended Pusha verse edited in. To my surprise, the extended bit is really good. |

If anyone likes grittier NY shit in the vein of Mobb Deep, Roc Marciano, etc etc.. There are a lot of appearances from Shaz IllYork and Meyhem Lauren on it, reckon people who are into that stuff and wanna hear them over darker cuts should give it a spin.
Spit Gemz- Welcome to Hellzgate ![]() its a little rappity rappy but im kinda hankering for some new gully shit Megatron Mindstate ft. Shaz IllYork Fly Creature

50's remix of 2 chainz' Riot isn't bad:
http://www.2dopeboyz.com/2012/05/03/...282dopeboyz%29 Speaking of 2 ccchhhhaaaaiiinnnnzzz, does anyone think that his rise is strangely similar to Nicki's? They both got pulled out of the relative underground by some major co-signs and just started appearing all over as features until the media started caring about their own songs. Kanye having Nicki on Monster seems very comparable to Kanye having 2 Chainz on Mercy. Except people were amazed how good Nicki's verse was, not so much w/ 2 chainz. |

on the real its mostly background noise rapping, but I guess I need that now for finals. 2 chainz=/=nicki simply because he has at least a single minute of listenable music to his name. |

@DX at the album, I like rappity rap. This year has featured a west-coast revival, some southern-rap goodness, backpackers, weed-rap, and of course east-coast thug shit as well...If you can't find something to like then you're just becoming disillusioned with the genre itself. ...Fuck it, goes back to listening to Reks.
