I stole a bit more than that.. I have done some real shit in my life.. I have popped at people and what not.. but stealing from my father was the shittiest. I paid him back... but that's not the point I was a computer networking major at first.. and looked at my peers one day and said fuvk this.. I love history in general and started getting into teaching ESL so went with Japanese history...once I got into it I REALLY got into it.. My focus was modern history starting from the end of the Edo period to now.. so Meiji and WII pretty much... |

There's literally little to nothing that's actually similar about their previous work and WZRD, I don't know how your seeing this otherwise. Recon said it best, nothing is really similar at all besides simple lyricism. |

I realize MOTM2 is not as good as MOTM1 but it had some great tracks. Marijuana, Mojo So Dope, Wild'd Cuz I'm Young, Trapped in My Mind.
That said, giving WZRD a few more listens and it's definitely growing on me. |

So serious question. If someone had shot Cudi right after MOTM1 came out, and then his good unreleased stuff came out as a posthumous do you think he'd be considered classic (at some point, even if not right now)?

Just because something grows on you doesnt make it good. Genital Warts is a prime example.

I bought SF4 when it first dropped. I thought it was going to be a great era for Capcom. Then they became retarded. I no longer game on consoles, but if I did, I would be boycotting Capcom and EA. As is, I still boycott EA/Origin.

Capcom still delivers every time though. They're on the Dre side of things, tease you like a bitch, mistreat you as a fan, but when they come through, oh they come through. EDIT: Except for AE. |

Don't talk to me about MML. Those rabies-infested fans invaded Mahvel threads for months just to complain about something Megaman-related or another, even after Mahvel's devs threw in countless nods to their company mascot. So I have a personal vendetta.
I should've probably clarified, only their fighting game division. Every other game they make is pure unfiltered shit. |

First name? Omar
Where'd you get your username? When I was 13 I was into gangs and stuff(stupid i know), figured the mob would be my alias online.......I fell out of love with it but kept it still. Age? 21 Where do you live? Killer Cali Where are you from? Cali/Ohio How'd you end up where you are? Dad got a job in Cali, we moved out here and I got stuck here ever since. First Hip Hop Album? First one I bought? Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor Top 5 movies? Lords of the Rings: Two Towers, Any old Jackie Chan movie, Dark Knight, Inception, The Matrix. Admittedly I don't watch movies as much as others anymore. Top 5 Video games? Zelda: Majoras Mask, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, Super Mario 64, Final Fantasy 8. What did you read last? Atlas Shrugged, absurdly long, the book could have been cut in half and it would have been just as good. Had like 500 pages of filler. What did you watch last? Real Steal............It was awful. Favorite non hip hop album? Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. Outside of Hip-hop i'm into more instrumental rock music and epic movie soundtracks. Favorite Drink? Sober for 21 years :p I'll take a nice glass of pomegranate green tea thank you. Play any sports? Just basketball, was never in any great shape to play in a league/school team. How was your high school life? Decent, had many "opportunities" and I regret ducking out on them. Bad habits? Procrastinate on everythangggggggggggggg Employment? Give me a job. Hobbies? Games, Internet browsing, 3d modeling, rolling blunts. If you could slap one artist in the face with a sock filled with quarters? Gucci, but from the look of his face somebody beat me to it. Why'd you end up on gaf? Can't remember, but it had to do with gaming. Got here in 05. Other threads you frequent? NFL-Gaf, NBA-Gaf, Gaf-Hop. Threads you avoid like the plague? Ponies, Any pop music related threads. And any controversial political or religious thread. I always have strong opinions about something in those threads and usually they are just ban bait all over. Most significant hip hop album to you (note not best or greatest, just most significant)? Lupe Fiasco's Food And Liquor. Prior to this album I only listened to "radio" hip-hop. After F&L I went on a shopping spree to find all the old "classic" albums and I read up on all the hip-hop beefs and any other need to know info about hip-hop. Yeah my rap knowledge may not be as deep as some others here but I learnt quick. Best thing about hip hop? Impossible to answer. I would have to say the lyrical poetry rappers be spittin. The amount of songs I can repeat from top to bottom is ridiculous. Worst thing? The bad rappers Shittiest thing you've ever done? Nothing really stands out to me, maybe im just boring :(

But, you know what? The 3K hate is out of hand here. The dude just sort of got sick of being the best, so he's semi-retired. He just didn't suck his own dick for 3 years talking about that shit. He does an occasional guest verse, and that's it. At least he's still not trying to put out albums that he doesn't want to put out, or trying to jack every young cat's style like Jigga. |

Whats up GAF-Hop
I'm a hip-hop/rap noob. Never was really into rap at all, but recently I've found myself listening to and enjoying rap more than most of the other stuff I listen to. I started with a few Wu-Tang Clan tracks, and from there started listening to a lot of Biggie (who I really like). I listened to loved Illmatic, which led me to Jay Z who I never really liked before but I've been listening to a lot of his stuff. Started listening to some Kanye, and then recently discovered Nujabes who I became addicted too. I basically had to find all this stuff by myself (with the help of the internet of course) as my friends rarely listen to rap, and when they do it's stuff I hate. Anyway, just wanted to say what's up, and I figure this is the perfect place to learn more stuff. |
