Which is generally easier for a person completely ignorant of framing to do, wood frames or metal frames? They said the wood frame would be assembled, but the metal one would not, so I'm assuming the former. |

Metal frame. It's super-simple to get the piece in and have it hanging on your wall in no time.

Congrats to those who managed to get Pikachu! For those curious, the horror story is mine. It could be worse, but I live in an apartment complex and we have fairly small mailboxes and the postman decided to essentially bend the envelope in half and just smush it into the box. About 30% of the image was bent in half (well in thirds I guess) but fortunately the Squirtle itself was not affected. I put the print in between the pages of a book and am hopeful it won't be noticeable upon framing but am still disappointed of course.

Happy to see lots of happy fellow Squirtle owners here.
Didn't get a Pikachu, but my Squirtle came in safe and sound. Mid #400s. It will go well with the prints I ordered from the Light Grey Labs Pokemon Battle Royale exhibit. I just need to get things framed! |

I'm guessing your new to the magical world of print sales. Limited edition runs happen all the time because it makes the art more valuable in a way. Not to mention it's awesome knowing you own one of the X amount of copies in existence.

Also, as Olly has mentioned, sometimes the contract is for a limited run so he literally can't make any more available.

Are you going to do evolutions where you have to prove you own the pokemon print thats evolving? Also, would absolutely love a Missingno print! |

i always wondered, is it legal for them to make money off of someone elses IP? does nintendo send their ninjas after him to collect? how do artists get away with selling t shirts and posters of this kinda stuff. i dont mind it one bit though :D edit: oh crap hes a gaffer :O
