Finally beat the game. Much longer than I expected. The game just kept on going. Must say the voice acting really suited this game. More games need witty banter playing in the background.

It should recognize it right away, but the camera is finicky and the card has to be pretty clear. I'd say I got 90% of the AR cards that are online without trouble, but some wouldn't scan at all and others I had to mess with. You'll know it's doing its thing if the camera is trying to focus on the image.

Thanks. The funny thing is that some low res and out of focus cards pics are read instantly while other clear and big cards are not recognized at all.

Thanks for the tips. I have a Pandora Claw with +6 Defense and +8 Max HP, so I'll practice using those before I attempt 17. Yes, I did finish 23 and 24, but much sweat was broken. I still stand by my opinion that Hades' Heart is one of the only blemishes on this otherwise-brilliant game. It's one of my least favourite bosses of all time :/ 24 wasn't too bad; I can defeat the Space Kraken and Phoenix with minimal/no damage, so it's just the beamspamminess of Gaol, Pseudo-Palutena and the GST that give me trouble. When fighting the Mimicuties and Reaper you need to approach it like friggin' surgery, as one errant twitch can spell defeat. I also noticed that 23 is actually really easy with a club. I used a Magnus Club with 5 stars in melee and 6 stars in range and I managed to beat all but the boss in one try. The Heart is actually made easier with a club too, as it only takes about 4-5 combos to kill it if your weapon's good.

You're an odd one hahaha. Of the handful of people I know who finished all stages on 9.0, they all had trouble with 21 / 23 and 24, but it seems you've finished them before finishing chapter 13 and chapter 17. (which are always completed before those 3) I'm jealous that you finished chapter 24 on 9.0 so quickly, that one gave me hell. Keep it at it bro, the key is to not give up no matter what.

Truth be told, I wasn't even going to spoiler tag it. I've seen users post pictures of characters that are "technically" spoilers, there are hades avatars, etc. I don't think it's THAT big of a deal, but if it is i'm sorry and i'll remove it post-haste.

Holy Shit finally got this game, Replayed chapters 1 and 2 like 4 times each. Ground controls are great! I expected something bad or regular were I have to take my time to adapt, but I'm alredy strafing around enemies. I'm still experimenting with the sensitivity but it's really good.

Nah, don't bother with homing. Just dial up the aiming speed all the way for horizontal and vertical, and increase stopping speed so it stops as quickly as possible. Do this for both flight and land, and you're golden!

Do yourself a favor and go straight to max sensitivity for ground controls, even if takes some more getting used to, its the only way to roll IMO

Got my copy of the game today and I'm totally enamored. I love that Sakurai took his love for collectibles, looked at Smash, and said "Yeah, let's do that again but cooler".

I'm blown away. Finally, I have justification for my 3DS.

Leave homing on. It's not like auto aim in dual stick FPS, it's a legit feature of weapons. For example my Great Reaper Palm with +3 Range and Homing fires Reapettes that slowly yet persistently chase enemies across the stage and around corners. Not to mention turning it off unbalances the weapon system and makes you unprepared for multiplayer.

Auto Reticle is the auto aim equivalent and that can stay off.

The thing I want to know is in order to satisfy condition for each weapon panel, do I need to have ALL of the weapons in my possession, or will the game recognize the weapons I've already unlocked and will want me to focus on the ones I haven't unlocked?

you just need to have had it in possesion at one point, the game "remembers" this
