Negima really lost steam a long time ago. Bunch of plotholes left in the series that weren't address. Well at least it's over now.

Negima 355
![]() Gimme back the time I lost reading this Akamatsu. This ending has succeeded in letting a sour taste and spoiling the whole series for me. |

Magico
Came in expecting a cool down chapter after the couples tourney but pleasantly surprised by a boss battle set-up ending Nisekoi This feels more and more like a bad Love Hina Negima I don't know what was worse, this ending or PSG's ending. Wolf Guy I didn't read it I was just surprised it was still going on and being translated. |

As long as it's good, I don't mind. Finished volume 2 and even though I saw that twist from a mile away, I'm still intrigued. Is it just me or is the art for moving objects and people way better than the static stuff?

Negima END
Hahahahahahaha Hahaha So ends what was probably one of the first mangas I ever picked up. Overall, I had a blast with it. Never took it particularly seriously and I think that helped. Now, where's my bodacious space sequel? |

Negima end
I know it's what everyone has said, but seriously... So where's the ending? Love Hina had a good, solid ending, so I was expecting one in this series too once it finally ended, but he seems to have forgotten to write one. This chapter goes through what happens to everyone in the cast except for the most important thing, about Negi and Asuna and whoever it is Negi likes. That the series never resolves one of its central issues certainly does bring it down overall, for sure. And this from the same person who made Love Hina... it's sad. :( (The character bios of what they did in the future was kind of interesting, because that's not something Love Hina had, but seriously, the missing part of the ending was far more important.) |

Bakuman
Ok does Mashiro's mom not know about this whole love bullshit so far? Cause Mashiro is either closing the TV cause he is too embarrassed or he still hasn't told her which is fucking stupid. So then Mashiro goes to the supermarket and 2 kids ask him for an autograph. Are they really that lame? Some nerd wants an innocent love and embarrasses himself on the radio and they fucking look up to him? Why? Seriously. They don't even look like nerds so I can't write them off as losers. But whatever, maybe they are just lame kids. Oh and also the TV stations picked on it and they all seem cool with it? Has everyone in the goddamn country lost their mind? I think this is gold material for SNL/Leno/Conan. Someone for the love of god just make fun of them and mock them publicly. Also lol, there is a magazine dedicated to voice actresses. Such a serious business Miho's manager seriously sucks. Miho can't work on multiple series cause she wants to focus on the role for Reversi? Last time I check, VAs do shit load of projects at the same time. Miho is such a scrub and her manager got no balls. I seriously don't understand how they have an editor answering meaningless pointless calls from idiots. Just have an answering machine that says "Hey buddy, they are in a relationship. Got a problem with that? Then go suck it and cry on 2ch" My god, the anime staff is really clueless. I can't think of a more contrived scenario where they can extend this bullshit and have Miho lose or some garbage like that. It's also such a shame that the director came up with the idea. It's like he is not getting paid to fucking direct the anime. I honestly thought the dude had balls when they showed him earlier but he fell to the "brain malfunction" disease that is affecting everyone in the series :(

I split my list in to genre lists because I couldn't find anything in the default one.
Reading: 340 Completed: 502 I also started Blue Exorcist and it's really good. It was similar to D.Gray Man at first but it quickly got over any similarities besides the whole exorcist theme. I'm up to ch28 so I'm nearly caught up. Also Koeneko sucks and I hate him, easily the worst character in the series. |

Mashiro seriously needs to see counseling for this stupid self-sabotage complex of his. "No, it's not all right for my girlfriend to accomplish something normally, we need to PROVE IT with a popularity contest based on circular logic." |

I'd imagine they're just doubling up on characters for this part. In real life they probably do have assistance handling that.

That's pretty tame too considering the other examples.
Didn't One Outs also try to solve the BLACK MUSCLES conundrum at one point? Or am I thinking of another baseball series?

Well, goddamn. Another amazing chapter. Here I was thinking that this would be another breather chapter to kick Eren while he's down again. Apparently the mangaka has far more grandiose plans. |

So my total post count is somewhere around 2200 for the Manga Discussion/News threads. I wonder where that puts me. Grimace is probably closer to 4,000, but I'm just edging him out in total posts overall so I'm happy.

I believe some people commented on this late in the last thread, but now we have confirmation: a new series from Mitsuru Adachi is on the way.

I'm a huge One Piece fan, but I'm really not digging the stuff that Oda has been doing lately. Everything is too crazy now, including the art and set pieces. I want my emotionally engaging story arcs back...

Now that I've had a chance to sick back and think about it, the world of OP is ridiculously overpowered. Not DBZ levels, obviously. But Jesus Christ, it's almost as if Oda has no boundaries. Kizaru can move at the speed of light. SPEED OF LIGHT for fucks sake. Why didn't his editors tell him that was a horrible ass idea? Theoretically, Kizaru should stomp every character in the series with complete ease.
