http://p-atlus.jp/p4g/v/ir5xpJYzDd08/ If we get the same preorder bonus as Japan (which we usually do), then these will come in handy. |

Yeah, but I don't think I can watch it on the big screen can I? I remember the fuss about no HDMI out on the Vita but I'm not being facetious; I genuinely don't know if there's another way to "throw" the content from a Vita to a bigger screen! (To note: I only watch films, DL'ed, on a portable device on long-haul flights.)
On a related note, can I share Netflix accounts between devices? I'm assuming I can... |

We're a sophisticated bunch looking for sophisticated devices. I'd extend the question to ... Did you buy the device yourself or get it as a gift? I predict that most spent their own hard earned money. Of the 25+ year olds, how many have kids and as a result spend less time on the ps3? There's probably quite a few Vita owners in this exact situation.

Resistance will divide opinions. Others will say its shit from start to finish, but I thought it was fine. It'll look and play like a cheap game that lacks polish, but the fundamental things like shooting work really well. Perfectly shows that a FPS game can work on a handheld without making any dramatic compromises. Story is short. 6-7 hours to platinum the game. There is also multiplayer, which is surprisingly fun. |

I hope SE sends Dissidia 012 and Parasite Eve to sale for next week - I need to make my transfer to digital versions of those two :) |

My review of it is here... Basically I think it's average in just about every way imaginable, your enjoyment level with it will depend on whether you find playing a FPS on a handheld novel and how you feel about the resistance universe. Also it's the easiest freaking platinum ever. ;) And launch games will remain high for a while if the 3DS is any indicator. I bought a 3DS at launch and it wasn't until the fall games came out that the launch games dropped in price. And by then I didnt care about the launch games I was waiting for.... |

Waiting for Tekken and Soul Calibur PSP to price drop. $40 a pop is absurd, Namco.
Even more absurd is how much money these dumb companies are leaving on the table. Why isn't either of the two Phantasy Star Portable games on PSN? Doesn't Sega want my money? Can't R* afford the couple thousand dollars in Q&A testing needed to dump the ISOs of LCS/VCS? It would make sense if these companies were stalling because they planned on releasing Vita "Remaster" double packs of these old games, but there's not a single indicator showing this to be the case. /rant |

How good is the battery in the Vita? Im thinking of buying one but I go away for school for a semester at a time (about 4 months) and I'm not taking any games with me because its intense studying. I'm wondering if not using it for months at a time will destroy the battery quickly. It happened with my psp and old iPhone.
