There are performance dips in a lot of spots but the performance in Blighttown is some of the worst I've seen in a console game. It's on the very edge of playable. The game is so good that it's able to overcome that glaring fault but it could be so much better with a consistent framerate.

Well you don't necessarily have to "let" people mod your game.
GTA didn't have a mod tool, but people modded it to hell and back anyway.

Totally playable is settling. This would smoke at 60fps. It's definitely playable but barely.

Well you don't necessarily have to "let" people mod your game. GTA didn't have a mod tool, but people modded it to hell and back anyway.

It's more of a "don't make it impossible people mod your game". Look at the mod count difference between CoD4 and MW2, for an example of that.

There will be some news on the PC side, magazines all but confirm it. Whether this announcement is about only that is unknown.

Officially, we have no idea. Unofficially, we believe there's a PC port coming. Unknown as to whether or not there will be any extras (I don't really care if there are or aren't, why others do is a bit beyond me).

I guarantee you even if there were a million likes the wall would still be up. It's probably going to break open when that Namco conference starts in April. There's plenty of people who care about Dark Souls, but this is just a bad marketing gimmick.
