Scored another design favorite. Ligne Roset "Neo" rocking chair and ottoman. Color is washed out in the photo, in reality it's a nice light tan "wheat". I love the shape, especially the way the ottoman looks like it's a piece carved off of the chair. This thing cost about $3,000 new. Found it on Craigslist for $600. Besides looking good it's extremely comfortable and functional. The cover can be removed and replaced, it uses Bultex memory foam and never loses its shape.

Someday I might get it re covered in white:

It's like it's saying "That's right, I'm a fucking video game console, what you gonna do?" I think modern consoles look too much like a DVD/Blu-Ray player.

I miss this thread, despite how short lived it was.

Leica lenses, I've chosen the Summicron 28mm f/2 (goes for $3.5K) right here in the image above. Its all metal and glass, tightly constructed by hand and top of the line optics with exotic glass. No Autofocus either, all manual with a nicely dampened helicoil (focus ring). You also have to appreciate the etched Distance Scale markings. It just makes me hnnnggg.

Also for those that like Leica rangefinders there's the limited edition M9 'Hermes' edition...

Goes for like $20K el oh el

Sony Walkman X 1050 (1060)

best mp3 player design hands down. Has perfectly placed lateral buttons for playback, volume and Hold. You'll never need to bring it out of your pocket.
Really bright amoled screen and black monolithic design. also the black used has sparkling elements (not seeable in photos) that changes the effect on different light conditions.

Belstaff Trialmaster

really cool looking,70s british style (albeit italian manufactured). The pockets are designed to be always accessible when you ride, and the main zip has a big ring to allow you to open the jacket even if you still wear riding gloves.

Cool!

I always wanted one but I never knew the name of it. Searched "modern minimalist large calendar" and found the name.

For some reason I didn't realize you had it in your picture until now (I already posted in this thread a few times)... I would have just asked you for the name lol.

Not to be a dick, or anything, but that's actually a Barbour International, and a more recent, less classically-styled one at that. That said, the Barbour International and Belstaff Trialmaster are very similar jackets, both originally designed for the same purpose! I like them both, though Belstaff is now Italian-owned and produced, whereas Barbour has remained in the good old UK.

Here's a Trialmaster, just for the reference.
