If anything, he's snowballing. Somebody forgot to confer with Drinky Crow as to the art of successful trolling.

The risk would have been to overstretch themselves. It's like looking at GTAIII which was quite frankly barebones and as they finally became more comfortable with the engine we got San Andreas as R* knew the engine extremely well by then and could throw everything and the kitchen sink into the game just because they could. |

GTA 3 is a miracle all things considered. After that they quickly put out Vice City which was "GTA3 plus" as it didn't offer that much more. But I remember reading a lot about how much they learned working on Manhunt and that the game was more or less a vehicle to try unproven concepts and improve their skills. My only concern is they're going to improve the scope, etc. and not the mission structure. That's one of my biggest gripes with TBoGT and TLAD. Felt very stale. "We've been here before". They need to shake it up. |

My complaints about driving are basically:
- Sensitivity on the turn-radius AND - Congested nature of the streets Mostly the latter. It's like... Hey I get up to 60 MPH and then I run into a stop sign and my car stops immediately and throws me through the windshield, etc., etc. Too much stuff completely stopped your car and impeded your progress that had no business doing so. |

Just give me back my Cops and Robbers. Still some of the most fun I've had online this gen. A MP game is only as good as the group and we had 8-10 people every night piled into a few cars yelling and shooting at each other. It was so much fun to crash and ditch the car and try to get away at the last second.

False. You need to jack a bus or a dumptruck and smash through them
edit - oh lol, I thought he was talking about traffic. Yeah, the oddly indestructible objects like signs and trees were pretty hilarious. Hopefully they add more destructibility in V. |

If GTAV employs and expands upon the Euphoria engine used in RDR, then we are in for a treat. My main issue with Liberty City was the poor animations when shooting/slaughtering people, they got old fast.
Also, let's have more enterable interiors and customization options. Auto handling is already near perfect, and I like the idea of Los Santos being a large suburban sprawl like L.A. |

See, my strategy was to avoid running into stop signs or anything else. Somehow I was able to succeed at this a lot of the time. The driving controls are actually extremely empowering. I was able to pull off drifts and 180 turns in GTA IV with a lot more aplomb than in the average racing game. Sim or arcade.

Any time I read that GTA V isn't coming this year it breaks my heart. It's my #1 want this generation. I've played through GTA IV something like 6 times, beat it on 360, PS3 and PC (no joke - I've lost count).
A May 2013 release date is almost 5 years after IV. It's a long time to wait for a GTA game. Here's the rough time that passes between titles: GTA 3 (~1 year) Vice City (~2 years) San Andreas (~3 & 1/2 years) GTA IV (4&1/2 to 5 years) GTA V. GTA Advance, Chinatown, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, Lost & Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony were great and all to hold me over, but I'm a crackhead and I need moar! GTA games are of the highest quality so I understand they can't be yearly titles, however, I'm worried that at this rate whatever the next GTA is called (not DLC) it'll be 6 or 7 year wait. |

If they do tweak the handeling for GTA 5 I hope they only do it on the consoles. Cars handled like a dream with kbam. |

Car handling was perfect for me. Play something like SR3 and see how not to do driving. Every car feels like a tin can, with no skill needed to get the best from each car. It takes time to learn how each car handles in GTAIV but once you do it becomes a treat to outrun cops in each and every one.

Well, here's an info leak supposedly from a former R* employee, we all know how reliable these tend to be...
