Hmm, you could still learn Japanese in that time. Apparently it takes an typical English only speaker about 3000 hours of study to learn Japanese. Assuming he doesn't eat, sleep or poop, that's exactly 125 days or a little over 4 months which means he could master the language by July potentially beating the localised launch if it ends up being late Summer.

Wonder if they'll do the 3DS bundle in the US. The BBS 'bundle' (which was just a silver with stickers and the game) came out over here.

I don't know if that's because of Disney being popular in the US or if it's a Sony thing.

If someone who is going to buy the game and discuss it when it is out wants to make an OT I'll give it to that person over someone who is just bored and made an OT for a game he doesn't even plan on playing. I would do it any day. It's not a "rule", it's just common sense.
