Well....considering it hints at an HD KH3, they probably want everyone to know about it. |

I'm fairly sure unlocking the secret ending works the same way it did in Birth by Sleep: Final Mix; The lower the difficulty, the harder it is to unlock the secret movie. So on Beginner, you'd probably have to 100% the entire game whereas all you would have to do on Proud Mode is beat the final boss.
I'll shoot you a PM. |

More endgame spoiler related questions:
Yen Sid mentions that seven lights will fight the thirteen darknesses. Assuming the seven lights are good Keyblade wielders, who do we assume they are? Mickey, Lea, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Terra, Aqua, Ven, Roxas, and Xion are all theoretically options. Terra and Xion I can't see happening, do to the nature of their existence at this point in the plot, and I can see Nomura combining Roxas and Ven into one character who has the shared memories of both. So I guess: Lea, Mickey, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, and Ven? We shall see, I suppose. :\ |

Play Re:Chain of Memories if you'd like, but for Re:Coded and 358/2 Days, you're probably better off reading the Wiki summary or watching the cutscenes on Youtube. |

And I kinda don't think Xion's gonna happen because she's still more like a part of Sora than her own person. I think Lea is the most likely; you'd end up that way with seven keyblade wielders and seven princesses of heart without the weird overlap that you'd have from Kairi. I suspect that Nomura likes symmetry.

KH3 will probably open with a tutorial segment where you play as Kairi learning the ropes. |

But don't we already know that Lea is a Keyblade Wielder? So he's almost certainly one of them. I really doubt they can count Terra, considering he's a physical vessel of Xehanort's. Also, like was said, the Secret Ending pretty much confirms that Kairi will be wielding a Keyblade in KH3.

I think Nomura is trying to make KH as batshit as possible on purpose. |

The first real boss battle in the game totally through me for a loop. Huge battle area with tons of difference in terrain. I was completely lost as to how I was supposed to approach it. XD. |

18 hours in, 2 worlds to go if there isn't something weird and long in the end. Like the game so far, but the free flow actions kind of make the objects that could be used for platforming useless, since you can just dash in the wall, gain free flow magic speed and keep doing it until you're near the ceiling. I like the system, because platforming elements weren't always top notch in those games, but it feels kind of weird, like playing on cheats or something. And I kind of don't like the forced Drop mechanic, where I have to decide if I have enough Drop gauge to engage in a long fight and not be kicked out of it. |

One weird thing I noticed about bosses: I got stuck on one particular boss fight, so I took a break to do some level/ability grinding. I came back after about an hour or two, and the boss' health went from 3 bars to 4. Maybe there's some sort of boss health scaling mechanic?

IMDb also briefly said 50 Cent would voice Epona in Twilight Princess. I'd take it with a grain of salt until there's a separate source to confirm.
So those are considered the prerequisites? I'll be honest, I've only played the two numbered ones, and kinda skipped everything else (I did try Chain of Memories once, before playing the first game, and it just didn't click with me). I know Birth to Sleep is fairly important plotwise, but I have no idea what to make of the DS games. |

I'd say it's similar in speed, if not faster. Also a lot more chaotic, since the screen is smaller and you have 3 party members - it quickly gets flashy and half of the time I don't even know what's happening. It's fun, though.

Very much a 'just enjoy the ride' type of game for me. Sit back, kill some stuff, listen to simple and clean a few times and call it a day. Thinking about it isn't going to help. |

One more thing I don't like - breeding and taking care of those damn spirits. It's the only way to get abilities, but the 3 minigames get old pretty quick, petting them isn't very interesting as well - especially those snake-like spirits which moonwalk out of the screen which takes ages.
This could've really been handled better, although I like the idea of linking during fights. With Sora, mostly, since you're invincible during that period. Riku-linking is kind of risky, because you start flying all over the screen and enemies get annoyingly strong in the later part of the game - when I get killed it's usually by some random projectile. Also, who gave half of the enemies combo-projectile attacks? You get hit and hit and hit and hit and lose half of your HP because of a "one" attack. |

I can understand people saying it was par for the course, but it was my personal "this is dumb" moment. |
