#1
Dokuro Screens and Gameplay Details
GungHo has made formal announcement of Gamearts' new PlayStation Vita action title Dokuro, complete with screenshots introducing the story and gameplay.
Quote:
You play as the game's titular character Dokuro. Dokuro guards the demon realm and is entrusted with watching the Princess, a duty that he takes seriously. However, seeing the Princess cry evokes a strange sensation in him. Hoping to see the Princes return home, Dokuro betrays the Dark Lord, frees the Princess, and attempts to lead her to the tower exit.

Looks cool but I hope it's properly priced. It sure doesn't look like a 5000 yen game.

Well although it's not exactly the same company they used to be as awhole, GameArts is responsible for games like Lunar Silver Star and it's sequel, The Grandia games, Silpheed, amoung others. They most recently made Ragnarok Odessy on Vita which is one of the more popular launch titles if i'm not mistaken.

The people there now are quite talented guns for hire, but they're a archetypal 1990s developer. You ought to play at least 1 game them by them, as they are relentlessly charming. There might be no more charming developer of that era.
