Tarantino is stylish, so apparently he gets a pass. But I considered it clumsy |

Still, even if the scene wasn't good in your eyes, I can't imagine how it could ruin the entire movie. |

I still loved the movie. I just didn't understand the voice over exposition dumps. |

It was written for him. He was fantastic in Carnage, so I'm 100% confident he's going to bring it.
Foxx is pretty good but like Elba he didn't seem right for the part reading the script. Michael K Williams would have been fucking perfect. Absolutely perfect. Leo and Sam Jackson will be great though. I always liken reading Tarantino scripts as akin to reading the book of a film. You know what's coming but the pleasure is in bringing that script to life; best thing is its by the person who wrote it so their vision isn't distilled at all. It's a very good script, which'll work better on screen that written as it is, so I'm very excited. |

Wasn't Ennio Morricone planned to compose IB but scheduling conflicts or something arose? Seems like the perfect movie to get him on board, and if not then half the tracks used will be old Morricone tracks anyways lol.

Is the more of a problem with the roles he is given or his range as an actor? Wasn't the "Soloist" different for him?

I dunno. Foxx is just as good a choice if not better. I think Foxx is just the right amount of ugly and I don't have to work at forgetting who he is as much as Will. Don't get me wrong will is a great actor, but even in excellent roles like Ali, I caught myself thinking this is Will Smith playing Muhammad Ali rather than just accepting the role and forgetting the actor.

Leo looks awesome, as does Waltz. Like I said the other day, Foxx will have to convince me a lot that Michael K Williams wouldn't have been better. Also Kerry Washington is gorgeous |

Maybe I should have avoided it but it won't ruin the movie for me at all. It's like reading Lord Of The Rings; I knew what was coming but it was still fantastic seeing it on screen. Tarantino's a very visual director so a lot of the brilliance of the film will be the way the actors deliver their lines, the look of the film, the soundtrack... I'll love it just the same. Read Basterds as well and loved it even more.

I have ZERO problems reading the script. It has helped immensely on providing better coverage of the film and it's also going to be amazing to see how Tarantino translates all of his words to the screen. I did get the Gravity script though, holding off on that one :)

This doesn't actually come out until next year in the UK but I'll count it as such, and while I'm very hyped for TDKR the trailers haven't completely sold it to me yet, so it's between this, Prometheus and Cogan's Trade. |
