If you've never heard of these guys before, they've done quite a few covers from video game soundtracks, to Hip-Hop tracks, to even covering James Blake.

Some examples of their previous works

Doom

Mass Appeal/Transmission

Title Theme/Saria's Song/Song Of Storms

Fall In Love

You can find more of their music at their bandcamp page http://badbadnotgood.bandcamp.com/

So basically if you're into jazzy, smooth, instrumental music with some hip-hop influences then these guys were made for you. Get on this.

First listen through, and I'm feeling a much more energetic jazz-fusion vibe than from BBNG1.

Even though I love their covers, I'm glad to see some more original content here.

I'm digging this a lot.

I don't know why, but because this album is free, I wasn't expecting much before I gave it a listen a few days ago. Yeah, it pretty blindsided me. Definitely one of my favorites from this year. I learned of this group by listening to a Jazz Meet Mixcloud podcast.Their sound is really hard for me to pin down. Jazz-hop, punk, electro - I heard it all here. Vices is my favorite song.

Somehow missed this thread! I've been listening to them almost nonstop since the first BBNG, and I've been following their live releases and other stuff actively. It's weird for me, as I'm into jazz a ton but listen to very little of the source material they cover. But I dig it, they have a super original style to them, and releasing music for free is always awesome. Seems they get better and better with each release.

I was going to make a thread when BBNG2 came out but forgot. Anyway, probably my go-to band at the moment. UWM is suuuuch a good song, plus the video is awesome too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fp40VH6bu7o)
