shut up and take my money!
i hope they will do a better job with expansion packs releases (i'm looking at you PS3 version) the only thing i didn't like about 2012 was that there was only one real expansion... i enjoy deck packs, but i want more!

Hopefully they let you at least cross over cards between decks that share the same color. Baby steps. Last year we got the ability to remove cards when adding extras.

what i really, really want is the ability to take away lands from my deck, i think some of them had way too many and i was forced to put extra cards just to avoid drawing lands every single turn ps: am i the only one worried about loading times on the ipad version? i mean, it takes forever to boot the game on PS3 |

I hope the online works well on iPad. It'll have to be real time though, because asynchronous Magic would be the worst.
They'll say it is an M13 Titan and then it'll be as if thousands of Magic players cried out at once, and then were silenced. |

Nah, that's Magic Online. This game gives you all of the cards in-game (except for some relatively inexpensive DLC a few months down the road)

:lol That would be insane amounts of trolling. I hope they make all versions get the same. PC getting shafted last time was stupid. I like when it's one rare.

plus once every couple of months they release a deck pack (2 new decks) for about 2-3 € or an expansion (3 or more decks plus new campaign, plus new puzzles) for about 5 € |

If you ever wanted to try and play Magic again this is the perfect thing to buy. They have another product for PC called Magic Online that has most of the cards that exist in the tabletop game, but you have to actually buy packs of cards. |

Does Magic have an equivalent to the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship series? I've always wanted to play more, but I'm not much of a social gamer and I hate games that force pre-constructed decks on you and/or typically require to pay a little bit for each decent card you want/need.
A Magic game on the 3DS that at least includes all of the most recent sets would be awesome. I'm surprised Wizards haven't had one made by now, on the DS at least. |

the reason because yu-gi-oh has that kind of game is probably because a business model like magic online is not feasable for that game... |

I may have terrible luck when it comes to Magic. Sold my 360 and the original Planeswalker comes out for 360 only. Now, most of my casual gaming (like card games) is done on my phone/tablet - bought an Android tablet and they announce this for iPad. And it's not just video games; a week after I got into the physical card game, the Wizards of the Coast shop near my house closed down. Terrible luck.

Does anyone remember the old school Duels of the Plainswalker game? I think it was microprose.... but it had an overworld map where you traveled to different locations defeating people and then taking their ante cards and adding them to your collection, best part was the full deck editor letting you build whatever deck you wanted from all of the cards you collected. Still the best MTG game.

It seems like it's now finally become an annual series. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I bought both the original and the 2012 edition when they were on sale on steam. I've logged maybe an hour on each and cannot tell the difference.
I hope there's more to it than just the few bullet points listed in the OP. |

The differences will probably just be the new decks, new challenges and modes. Since it is (presumably) only ten bucks I don't have that much of a problem with it. Heck, I'd pay a decent amount just for a bunch of the challenge puzzle things. I enjoy those way too much.
I do look forward to whatever comically broken deck they give to Nicol Bolas. Karn's was already pretty hilarious in 2012. |

I ended up only beating it by having two controllers in my lap to play two hands at once. |

Yeah, I think the foil ones could only be unlocked with money. Of course, why anyone would actually pay money for a digital foil effect is beyond me.
