Uhm, not to sound stupid but where is the difference between having the jack at the bottom and plugging it in on top and having the cable go under the DRC? (apart from losing a few cm of lenght). Would prefer bottom too (move the stylus while you're at it) but the big difference escapes me.

At least my IPhone is much smaller and I can just move the cord to the side, so it's easier to deal with than it will be with the UPad (a much wider and thicker device) where I'll have to buy a much longer pair of headphones (not a big deal and I'm already planning on it).

Just wanted to second that they really need to move the jack to the bottom. The headphone jack on my IPhone (which I'm posting from now) is on top and it's literally the only thing I hate about the device, especially when I'm using it in bed. Just feels very awkward and I'm constantly having to brush the cord off the screen. So yeah, upper headphone jack on the UPad is indeed a potential major annoyance.

They'll surely do something about that since they're dropping GC BC support for the Wii U. I think that Sony took the best route. The really in demand titles have received HD remasters while they release "virtual console" style games for the rest of the title.

Yeah, i'm definitely someone that still prefers packaged games over digital downloads. But if they only want to offer them as digital downloads then I wouldn't be too upset. It'd also give them a chance to give them a good budget price since they wouldn't need to go through any retailer.
