Yui and Ritsu are just so overlooked. I like Mio and all, mostly for being voiced by Cristina Vee, but Yui and Ritsu makes the show for me. Mugi is background noise. |

Because otaku like plyable women with large tits and hime cuts. Her trying to put on a strong face, but at the same time being insecure and a bit of a scardy-cat causes the moe reaction to her go through the roof. She's someone you can protect, but protect against small threats, and thus, that makes Otaku like her.
Honestly, if I hate any otaku, it's the K-ON! Otaku. Their character worship is some of the worst I have ever witnessed... |

Azunyan is a furry in human disguise.
Ritsu is a tomboy and that's like -5 in mamoru effectiveness. Yui is cute but a complete klutz so even the otaku realise that having a relationship with her would be the worst thing ever. Mugi is an ojousama which would normally put her at the top, but Mio has this girl-next-door/childhood friend appeal that tingles the otaku's romantic sensibilities. Mio is perfect waifu material: someone who you can protect and you can trust on but still independent enough for you to not have to be on her arse 24/7. Also: ( 0 ) ( 0 ) |
