Yes. Even though the game was short i really liked it.

The hardest setting was great and playing as Kai with the sixaxis was really good, shame sony didn't push more sixaxis gameplay like that, had it been more successful we might have got a trohpy patch and move support down the line as well for it.

Which is totally fine. In GoW I run through the epic world killing epic shit and don't have time to waste on "comboing" or "thinking".

Still, getting hit in the middle of a 100+ hit combo takes away some of that epic feeling from it. Just me, though.

Both GoW 2 and 3 have pretty dumb stories. The only games in the series with somewhat decent stories are GoW 1, CoO and GoS. GoW 2 is still the overall best game in the series.

Well I try not to play complete crap. :P Talking about the good games, even apparent copycats like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow surpass GOW in complexity. And even Ninja Theory's DmC seems like it has more going for it.

How much more complex can it get for a combat game? Honestly. Before it becomes a total clusterfuck to play.

Maybe my dexterity is not up to par, but I'd like to know what y'all elites frequently play that's so complex.

GOW3 had the Blades of Exile, Hades' Claws, Nemean Cestus, and that weird electric whip thing. All four weapons had numerous variations of the standard jab(square), jab, heavy(triangle), and acending, charging and weapon switching moves. That plus the L1 and R2 specials, circle grab variations and secondary wep's (Apollo's Bow, Herme's boots and Helios' head...).

You could combine and experiment with ALL those endlessly. Unless you're a gamethlete, you wouldn't do that while playing the single player campaign.

Personally, I'm busy enough gawking at the visuals to be bothered with "excelling" at the game at all times. As far as action games go, GOWIII is complex enough.

Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta and Devil May Cry all have more complex combat in that they rely more on combos and blocking compared to God of War, where combat is 'heavier' and more slower-paced.

look in the bottom at the almost bottom. You see a sort of Kratos spin attack with the chains. You see a circle outline of his move. How did anyone not see this by now? And that dude you pointed out is an enemy running towards kratos
