Im looking forward to trying this out, but I really am unsure about this game, its production delays have me a bit worried.

I hope its a case where they've had the game done for a while, but kept getting extra polishing time since the publisher kept picking shitty release date windows they felt to make it a big success.

they scrapped the original iteration of the game sometime after E3 2010 and went back to the drawing board, and from what they said it's been done since March they have just been polishing everything

I wouldn't be worried much about the delays, looks pretty solid from all the footage they have shown recently

I've been fooled by footage before though. Brink comes to mind immediately.

The beta needs to win me over tomorrow and the weekend where I'll play it. If not, then I'll prolly just go back to Reach for my MP shooter for now.

Can't believe they're actually going through with the "you need to have the disc" thing. The beta was supposed to happen the summer of 2010, after which Ubisoft didn't mention it until now basically. Ubisoft apparently expects people to have held onto the game for two years. If they can send me a mail telling me to put the disc in they can send me a code.

Oh well, already had a Gamereactor account, so that was about as effortless.

How am I supposed to pre-load?
I go on my SC Conviction game and click on UPlay and I see no indicator of a beta download...

edit; nvm I guess you just have to press "x" in the menu and you can pre-load it, no need for going on Uplay

A lot of us just got an email from Ubisoft regarding Ghost Recon Future Soldier codes, I haven't played a Ghost Recon game since GRAW on 360 and have never played Conviction so I think it's all just luck.

Yeah, its too bad that had to happen, that e3 2010 version looked like it could have been an interesting game. Not that this build doesn't look good, but none the less things changed. One way or another I hope this game pans out to be fantastic, but I wont be horribly surprised if its mediocre.
