One thing I want to work on is adding descriptions on each of the streams, as well as some of the featured players and regulars. Will work on that when I have some time.

Events are in approximate order of start time. Note that events may be added/removed/updated as more information becomes available. If you have info on upcoming events for the week, or a stream you think should be featured, feel free to make a post below or send a PM.

Special Events

Saturday April 21 at 12PM JST (UTC +9, Friday 11PM EDT is the 3rd chapter of the Street Fighter IV 5on5 -kiwami-. The best of the Kansai area will be in attendance, including Michael-tan, Taku@Ratio4, Pamyu, EX Mamehara, Gachi-kun, Uryo, KoujiKOG, Eita, Kindevu, Dogura, Haitani, MDR, Misshi, a.k.a.jojo, Juso, KOK, Banbaban --to name a few-- in addition to GamerBee of Taiwan. The action will be streamed from a-cho's Ustream channel.


Saturday April 21 at 11PM JST (UTC +9, 10AM EDT) is Mix Up Night #02. The first tournament was a great watch, with Haitani beating Tougeki 2010 champ Oeppu in KOF XIII but losing to RF in Grand Finals (Click here for the beginning of KOF footage and here for Top 8), and KOG's T.Hawk doing some amazing work before being shut down by Uryo in AE Grand Finals (Check black_vegeta's YouTube channel for a playlist for the AE tourney). The next event will be at the same venue, the Maid Café CCOcha, and with a newly-installed fiber optic connection, so the stream should have much higher quality and stability this time around. The second event will be for SSFIV AE and SFXTK, which replaces KOF XIII. SFXTK rules allow for both single or team entries, while gems are banned. GODSGARDEN will again be there for the second event, and the recently sponsored GamerBee, who will be in the Osaka area from April 18-24, will be attending.

Saturday April 21 is the 3rd Annual Spring Fighter Tournament (Flyer) at NYU Game Center. Open to the public, you'll be able to see the best of NYU and the New York City area compete in SSFIV AE. The event starts at 12PM EDT and will be streamed by Team Sp00ky, who also covered last year's event.

To celebrate its first anniversary, Sunday April 22 at 3PM PDT Southtown Arcade will be holding NorCal Knock-Outs, a special KOF XIII & UMvC3 invitational. Each tourney will feature 8 players, four pre-selected as well as four decided by fan vote. Here are the players for the event:

UMvC3: Honzo_gonzo, WindZero, X-Ray, Pedro Morales, Dacidbro, Hi I'm Nastyy, Yoshi13, Chrisis
KOF XIII: BBZ, MichelS, Fixel, Pain, Hellpockets, Laban, RogerDodger, Tone

Tuesday the results of the community vote were announced, adding Dacidbro, Hi I'm Nastyy, and Yoshi13 and Chrisis to the fray for UMvC3 and Hellpockets, Laban, RogerDodger, and Tone for KOF XIII. The event will be streamed by IPW.

I am working on an indie fighter right now and livestreaming the entire process on twitch. I stream throughout the week and give weekly updates on Friday nights. If anyone is interested in the process of designing and developing a fighting game come check it out.

I don't know if Krone will feel comfortable getting on after what happened yesterday. As for Triforce and Sanford, I feel like Triforce rather save that shit for his own show, but we'll see.

A heads up. We just started a weekly KOF stream on saturday night at Local Battles called Drive Cancel. Its just stream of casuals by the local players (including myself) while we go over strategies, tips, tricks, and random topics going on. It starts at 8pm EST and will be every saturday until May 12, where there will be the Drive Cancel Tournament, which will be a tournament with a lot of East Coast (and maybe west coast players). the stream is at www.twitch.tv/localbattles
